Default Almost no wt loss.

I just finished my second week and I only lost 0.8lb, I DID gain muscle decrease my fat% age but I haven't cheated so I am a little upset.

Blaaa, my coach doesn't understand either and is still encouraging (she is very sweet) except I might be someone who loses in chunks, stays steady for a while and then loses a bunch. I lost 6 lb my first (which was last week). Oh well, I am still sticking to and I will be stricter this coming week i.e not restricteds every day.

That sucks!

Only .8 many would be seriously happy with that. Maybe your expectations aren't realistic. And you can't build enough muscle in one week to affect your weight.

That could be frustrating, especially in the very beginnng. Congratulations are in order even if it looks tiny on the scale. Your body will tell a better story. Hang in there, more water.

I can understand how that could be frustrating but please hang in there!

It could be that you lose in chunks: you lost quite a bit last week, so you could be catching up this week and may lose considerably more next week.

Some thoughts...

- Follow the protocol sheet (as you are);
- Make sure to get all of your water;
- Make sure to take all three of the required supplements;
- Consider the optional supplements (Omega3 and digestive enzymes);
- Make sure you are not hungry, if you are hungry then eat something that is permitted (I find that I lose best when I listen to my body);
- Limit the aritificial sweetener; No gum; No diet soda (or very very limited);
- Do some walking every day if you can; Try not to do intensive exercise or if you do, limit it and take extra protein to compensate for it;
- If you aren't having any restricted, try having one or two per week if your Coach permits it (maybe as a treat on the weekend). If you are having restricted items, try limiting them (spacing them out more)

As long as you keep averaging 2 or more pounds per week, I would say that you are doing really great!

for a great WI next time!

Everyone looses on a different rythem. I am one of those people that never has a big number. But its not how much the scale has moved but that it did and in the direction you wanted. Stay with it and before you know it you will be one hot mama

I can only offer advice from my own experience, so don't think you have to follow it... everybody's body is different & what worked for me might not work for you... anyway, most of my time on IP protocol I had no idea how much I weighed, never stepped on a scale since I didn't have a coach to make me... but I followed protocol & the INCHES melted off... & that was the most important thing to me... only when I joined a gym a few months ago did I finally find out how much I weighed... it's hard to not let that number on the scale define who we are, but please try to resist that... as long as you are seeing your measurements decrease, this protocol is working...

Best wishes & gobs of hugs

I now it can be frustrating but if you stick to it you WILL lose. My first WI I lost 11lbs. The second one I lost 2lbs. 2 weeks in a row I didn't lose anything, but the following week I lost 6lbs.

During those 2 weeks of no weight loss I was worried and upset. Everyone told me to stick with it and I will lose. I hoped they were right, but was still upset. I was so happy to see the scale move after that.

Also it is more about the inches. On the weeks I lose a lot of weight I might only be down and inch but some weeks I will lose 1-2lbs and lose 3-4 inches. And really that's what is important. If I could fit into a size 10 at 160lbs I will be THRILLED if I am still in a 12-14 at 160lbs then I might be less thrilled. So clothes and sizes are what you should be aiming for.

Good luck

Thanks for your words
Of encouragement. I took something to help w constipation and in the morning I had lost 1lb vs previous day so I am sticking to it! My husband is noticing the loss so I will try, maybe limit restricteds to 2-3x/week.
