JoAnne, I work shift work, nights etc and I am not even going to splenda coat it that I found the night shifts really difficult. That being said here is what I did and it seemed to improve. I tried to have breakfast, lunch and dinner flipped around as if it was the middle of the day and not the night. It didn't work for me, so I tried having dinner as breakfast then lunch then a shake. I also found taking 2 potassium tablets with my first meal and using salt and water liberally worked well. On the week I worked nights I only lost 1.8 # but at least I didn't gain any!

I'm craving all the wrong foods and even had to take a couple days off, which turned out to be horrible for me. I feel like I need to start fresh. Any thoughts, motivation or suggestions?? THIS DIET WORKS!! I need to stick to it!!!!!
If you're feeling like you need to start fresh..then do it!!
Start with day 1.

Start your morning right with your First packet!
Then measure out your 2c. of veggies for lunch, and get your packet
for dinner Weigh you protein before you cook it, and measure out your 2c. veggies
Enjoy your snack!

You know it works! Just do it!

Look at your phase 1 sheet, and promise yourself..if it ain't on it, you won't eat it! You've come so far..Let's get this done!

DH started on Tuesday, and it is so much easier for me now that he and I are eating the same things and having his support is priceless.

Ladies, can I ask you to send out some prayers, or whatever good vibes you believe in? I work at a High School in Ottawa, and there was a terrible accident at one of our sister schools yesterday. An 18-year old student was working on a project in shop class when an oil tank exploded. He had no vital signs at the scene, was resucitated, and then passed away last night. The teacher, as well as a few other students were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. As you can imagine, it's been a devastating blow to the school and the community.

Sorry to hear about your community's loss. Prayers coming your way.
Also, I was looking at your ticker, and we are about the same! I started 4 lbs heavier than you and am right at the same weight too. I'm sure I have been doing it longer, so kudos to you!!! I'm having a hard time staying on it lately, and need help!! Any suggestions??

I'm supposed to be taking a day trip with my dad tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous. He's a guy who LOVES TO EAT and he'll want to go somewhere good for lunch. I might try swapping my dinner and lunch so I can order a chicken breast and veggies if possible, but I also plan on having a bar and lots of veggies packed in the car! And if he stops for ice cream along the way, I CAN SAY NO!

Stopped into my center last night to get some product and so they weighed me and measured me even though I've only been OP for 3 days. I've already lost .6 lbs and 5.5" (and this was right after dinner)!!! Can't wait to see my numbers after an entire week!

So I'm at the end on my fourth week and I have WI # 3 tonight (my coach was out of town and do not have my own scale). I'm kind of nervous about tonights WI. I cheated this weekend and I don't really feel like I've lost much in the past 2 weks. I hope I lost another 5-6 pounds but I really don't feel my body changing and not many people are noticing my weight loss. Plus next week is my TOM and I am so darn constipated (I know, way too much information) with all these things in mind and my cheating this weekend I have a feeling it won't be great, but my fingers are crossed. BTW whats up with the constipation? It's awful!

Thanks to you all!

Congratulations on taking this first step. Don't be scared. The first few days are very difficult but once you get over that, you will be feeling great in no time and so happy that you did this!

There's always a good group of people here for support whenever you need it!

70 lbs is amazing! Way to go!

What phase are you on? How much left do you have to get to your goal? May this a normal plateau and you body just needs to adjust or maybe it's time to switch phases?

You've come too far to turn back now!

Hi all I PLANNED on starting Tuesday but I cheated everyday since!! So Im really gonna dig my heels in, buy all the veggies and protein supplements to do this RIGHT with no cheats!!! Im so inspired by all of you.... I hear the first week is the hardest so I can get through this week I should be ok. I have two small children and theres always food around so this is gonna be tough but Im so tired of this weight and need to make a change. I need to not look at what Im giving up and look at it as to what I will be gaining....

I'm still in phase 1. My BIG goal is to get to 150...starting weight was 314. YIKES!! I feel so good now, but I have a long way to go!! I guess sometimes I feel a bit frustrated that I have been doing this for that long, and still have THAT long to go! It's tough! But, like I said earlier, it works!! I need to just remind myself of that..

Tomorrow, I am going to be seriously tested! My daughter has and end-of-year party at her daycare and all families are invited. She is very excited about it. It includes a pot luck lunch and we are all asked to bring something, then there are horse-and-carriage rides and a magic show. I am sure it is going to be fun! I have to figure out what I will do about lunch - maybe bring my own little lunch bag and hopefully it won't appear rude! Maybe I can explain that I have food allergies or something (but only if anyone says anything). One of the Administrators loves to sit and have a beer with me at such get-togethers... I'll have to tell him that I'm taking allergy medication or something to get out of it because if I say it's a diet, I know that he'll insist.

By the way, this reminds that I also haven't need ANY allergy medication since being on IP (I usually have really bad allergies around the month April)! Another benefit for me!

Anyays, I need to plan! plan! plan! Phase I would actually be easier for tomorrow because I could just have a bar and see if anyone brings veggies (or I could bring a salad and/or veggies as my potluck meal). I might still do that and just have a phase I day even though I am actually on phase II - could that be a problem?

Have a great OP weekend everyone!

Another thought is to do a 'phase 2 breakfast' and then have your bar or a shake for lunch if it is easier. So have an omelette (or protein?!) for breakfast instead of protein/salad at lunch.

Most of you know I went to Disney, went off program, and came home 7.4 lbs. heavier...while I owned it, I was still obviously bothered by it and made it my mission this past week and a half to rock phase 1 all over again....Well, I'm pretty sure I succeeded

13 lbs. down (so I lost the 7.4 I had gained THEN some)
for a total of 45.7 lbs. in 14 weeks
and a total of 30.3 inches

I'm THRILLED!! My husband came with me to my WI this morning and it was sweet to hear him tell my coach how amazing he thinks I am

I'm even more excited about getting into that new dress I bought the other day for the bridal shower this weekend. I can't believe that in just over 3 months, I'm already almost half way to my goal.
I'd like to thank everyone here for the constant motivation I get from reading the posts...it's because of this forum and my amazing coach that I'm where I am right now and I feel AMAZING.

Have a great day everyone!
Congrats! You are a great model for living your life and still rockin' IP. Fantastic!! Isn't it great when our husbands (wives for the guys on here) become your biggest fans/champions? I mean they are always there for us regardless, but seeing this from you and Darbs post about her husband warms my heart.
