Looks like you and I are in the same boat!! I started in Oct 2010 and lost
35 lbs by February and then all of a sudden started sneaking cheats and got completely off of plan...for 2 months!! I gained 7 lbs in that time cause I was eating junk like I had before starting IP. I started back 2 weeks ago and have lost the 7 lbs so I'm excited to get back on track!!! Oh, and I'm also from Louisiana...South La in Franklin. Good luck!!!

I'm a little bummed as the scale hasn't really moved much. I think it would be better for me to go WI weekly again and see my coach. I'm going to try and go tonight or tomorrow.
Another thing is I am EXHAUSTED. I cannot get enough sleep! Wednesday night I slept 10-6, then had a nap when I got home 3-6 and last night I slept 1am-9am. I just can't seem to get enough!!! I'm usually a night owl - and going to bed at 10pm never happens for me. And it's serious REM sleep too with crazy vivid dreams.
Well guys hope you all have a good IP day today!! Take care
Wow some names I haven't seen in awhile, welcome back ladies. I too struggled through February-April, but I stayed on plan 80% of the days and managed to drop 21 pounds during that time, but I had a cruise, Atlantic City, a wine weekend, etc. that def slowed me down. You can get this done...just focus and you will be fine. Congrats on not giving up and returning.

Excellent....I knew you would have a good week....sometime between weighin 3-6 there is a bad one followed by a good one and then it levels out to decent ones every week. Here's to continued success
HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!!! We have another weekend ahead of us to enjoy and be healthy!! I think I'm going to learn how to cook something new (well, I kinda always do that, I still feel so new to the kitchen but I LOOOOVE cooking!!). Maybe use the Crockpot for the first time since I started IP and make some yummy meatballs. I also haven't eaten any of the shirataki noodles that I got last week so I'll be using those and maybe make some spaghetti! I'll probably add some julienne cut zucchini to the mix.
Nooooo definitely not. It's more one of those stern supermodel-looking expressions.
Laura, somehow that job just seems so you, improving people's morales.
It's great to "see" you!! And I hope you get that job, achieve great success, and receive the treatment and appreciation you deserve.
Thanks! I'll set my alarm! I love watching the stars and seeing meteor showers. And making wishes!
Maybe try mixing it first before putting the coil in. Then stick the coil in to make it smoother. Btw - blueberry crangranata drink ALWAYS has leftover "crumbs" at the bottom - I always end up dumping the last couple mL's out because I don't want to taste them. Blegh. And the jello, if that's what you're referring to, is REALLY hard to get the clumps out. I don't use the shaker for that - I use a spoon and spend about 5 minutes pressing the clumps up to the edge of the bowl and getting rid of them. When it solidifies, it's much better and there aren't any clumps, even if I left a few behind.
love the picture it is nice to put a face to the writer.

Congrats Crystal you did great... Have a great weekend.
So...I've been trying to get OP for some weeks now and failing big time.
Today...I start over, phase 1, day 1. I know I can do it; I lost 35 lbs on this plan last fall and I know I can do it again. I just need a little more motivation and I think that actually posting on this forum might help me out. I usually do really well during the day but fail misarably after dinner...does anyone have any tips?
I don't have a coach so you guys are it!
I have the same problem, after dinner in the evening is the worst for me! It's because I'm not busy like I am all day...so my mind starts to wander to food. Recently I started making a ginormous bowl of the raspberry jelly to have as my evening snack. I add an envelope of plain gelatin to the IP rasberry jelly and add it to about 5 cups of sparkling water and a little bit of DaVinci sweetener. I make it the day before, so it has all day to setup in the fridge. Then I can snack on it during the evening when I'm really getting "hungry" ie. bored. Not only does it fill me up, but talk about getting water added to my daily quota! As I've been getting more used to the diet, I haven't had to do this as often...only once or twice a week now.
Good morning everyone, I started the day with a nice walk at 440 with my two dogs, though one ran off to bark at a fire hydrant???? thought it was one of the pet jack rabbits in our neighborhood I guess. I love walking early in the morning and as I leave for work by 6 I kind of have to. Today is WI # 12, it is hard to believe 12 weeks OP and just the differences are amazing. I was hunting in my closet this morning for something to wear (for WI days I try to find light pants and a t-shirt) as I can wear jeans at work, I decided to wear capris and a t-shirt. I looked at a t-shirt that I bought at a silent auction 2 years ago and that was way too tight to wear, and I thought maybe I will try that one today.... and guess what it fits perfectly... no longer have to buy X large and bigger am now down to Large... It makes me feel good. Today will be a different coach as my in on vacation so I am curious to see how they do things differently. My wi isn't until 430 pm my time, but I will let you all know either tonight or tomorrow as I have done the bootcamp all week long.... Tonight maybe a pizza to celebrate. I have one crepe mix left so I will do an IP pizza with ham and cilantro pesto and vegg... have a great day everyone.
I'm curious about this pizza! If it turns out yummy, I want the recipe! (how are you making the pesto w/o pine nuts?)
I've never posted any progress pics (and didn't take a "start" pic, unfortunately) but I was struck by 2 pictures of me with my niece 15 weeks apart at church. The first pic was the day before I started IP and the 2nd one was last weekend. IP is amazing and I'm so jazzed to keep going after seeing the progress!
ASH! You look INCREDIBLE! That is one of the coolest before and afters I've seen. Great job!
My clinic is closed this week so I don't WI until Monday. Last week my husband gave me permission to pull out the scale for the week so I could know about how much I lost this week. Looks like a little over 2 lbs, but I'm not updating my info until my official WI on Monday. I seem to be one of those people who loses more slowly. I'm averaging about 2.5 lbs a week without cheating. Less on bootcamp weeks. Strange but I'm not complaining!

Looking good and that little girl is adorable!! Keep up the good work.
Thanks, ya'll! Yep, I'm all about making new friends...now I have that Girl Scout song stuck in my head...
I've been back-reading (because I didn't even want to come on here and read on a bad day), and wow, ya'll are doing fantastic! I have to admit the jealousy of ya'll who started after me and are doing far better, but lesson's learned.
Welcome back. Glad you decided to join us. Life happens and we do the best we can. Loved your posts from before and will be glad to reconnect!

You look amazing! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! It's enough to keep me on track!
Ash congrats, stupid internet at work doesn't let me view the pics so will wait until I get home.
Okay, what am I doing wrong???? when I make anything in my shaker, especially the drinks, there are lumps of goo sticking to the coil? I have found if I put an ice cube in it isn't as bad but, I shake the s*** out of it and it foams up but then there are still lumps... the pommegranite and raspberry is the worst... HELP don't want to chew lumps in my drinks...
OMG, I am roaring! I haven't tried the ones you have been shaking the sh** out of~~ The other ones I haven't had any problems with. Throw it in a blender with some ice and call it a smoothie!
As I mentioned yesterday, my doctor is so pleased with my pressure readings since I've been on the program, he cut my blood pressure medicine in half. He also said that if I keep it up, I may reach a point where I don't need the meds at all! This is wonderful news because I have taken blood pressure medication most of my life! Life is good!
Plans for the day are to stay on program and try to become a little more active, so I'm going to clean out my closet a little bit. I'm getting rid of a few items that are too large so that I'm not tempted to slide back into them. I'm also going into the pantry and boxing up all of those high calorie, high carb foods that are unopened and take them to my local food bank.
I tried the WF Bacon/Ranch dressing yesterday, and while it's not the best thing on earth, it was a nice change from vinegar and oil. I am enjoying it quite a bit, actually. I discovered a small store in town that sells all the WF dressings, so I'm going to try each one. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Have a wonderful day, everyone! I'll check back here later.

Happy Friday to everyone..I am new to IP..so Jolie, I don't recognise names either!!
I am worried about a wine club dinner I have to go to tonight. It is my uncle's event. Has anyone here ever had a glass of wine on IP? I was thinking of only eating unrestricted foods during the day and then trying to stay as IP as possible at the dinner.
Any help would be appreciated. I plan on holding a wine glass and not sipping it!
I am in Washington state and enjoying seeing the lilacs and dogwoods..but I am not enjoying a fox family who is after my cats.
Hi there and welcome! I am also in WA State and NOT enjoying the Russian Olives!!!
We have grown wine grapes for several wineries. My best advice is to stay with a dry white (Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay) @ 3 grams of Carbs per 5 ounce serving. Reds, (Cab, Syrah, Pinot Noir) have 3.5-4 per 5 ounce serving. Stay away from dessert wines, the grapes aren't even picked untill after a pretty good frost which brings the sugars up to almost a syrupy stage! (12-14 grams) and the absolute worst is the "Late Harvest" wine @ 20 grams. Drink plenty of water. At least a 20 ounce bottle after a glass of wine.
