Happy Tuesday everyone!

Does anyone know how long it takes to get back into ketosis once you have fallen out? I cheated on Saturday after FIL's funeral (too much meat with dinner, non-IP-friendly salad dressing, 2 little dessert squares, alcohol with diet cola). I have been good ever since but as of today, I am still not losing weight (at all) and I suspect that I am still not back in ketosis... any advice on what to do to would be greatly appreciated! Also, would exercise help "burn it off" or would it hinder the process and prevent ketosis?

Way to go for making it through the first three days!

I often sprinkle my salad with sea salt, pepper, onion salt and parsley (and it is actually good like that on its own without dressing). Then, I just make a simple dressing by whisking together equal amounts of olive oil and apple cider vinegar and then adding whatever else I want to season it (garlic, lemon juice, dijon mustard, sea salt, herbs)... I love it! It also works well as a chicken marinade!

You can use an oil and vinegar dressing you make yourself, or if you have a walmart near you try there. They have 4 new salad dressings that are 0cal/0sugar made with splenda, the brand name is Gyro. I have tried the mango vinegerette and liked it.

Morning all - had my WI last night and only lost .8 lbs. Not frustrated though as somehow I gained over 2lbs in muscle and lost 4" off my stomach and an inch off my waist - so I guess it was NSV day for me.

Weighed in this morning at home and was down 3 lbs. from yesterday too lol - oh well - hopefully this will be a big week for me.

crystalchuckgracie - a lot of people may attest that you're not missing much w/ the WF dressings. I've used mine once in the last 3 weeks opting to use mustard instead (but I love mustard so that works for me). The oil/vinegar route is good with spices - just be sure to measure properly so you don't overdo the oil and stall your weight loss - congrats on getting past the hardest part!!!

Hey there! I'm glad you're feeling better! I had some stomach problems last night, but I think it's what I ate. Thank goodness I'm keeping a food diary so I know what upsets my stomach!

Nutrition World has a few WF dressings, but honestly, I am having a hard time finding one that doesn't taste horrible. You can order some from netrition.com. I have the chipolte ranch coming today and am praying it's good. Also, our Super Bi-Lo has a sugar-free raspberry vinagrette (it's on the top shelf toward the end of the dressings). Just be mindful of the serving size because it does a a couple of calories and 1 carb. I use it on days when I don't have a restricted. Plus it really helps me get my lettuce in.

I had my WI#2 yesterday and was extremely happy down another 5lbs and another 5 inches, I am very happy, this was a great week. She had some sample dressing to try so I am going to give it a shot and see how they taste.

Unhappy Feeling down

Hey guys. Maybe it's the crummy weather, but I have been feeling down yesterday and today. I feel so discouraged because I can't actually see any progress because the scale won't weigh me. The one my coach has flashed a number before saying error, so I am assuming that's it. But I don't even have a guess as to what it was to begin with! I know that weight can fluctuate during the week, but I can't even see that! The hubs took my measurements this week so we can keep track at home that way until I am down enough to be weighed. I figured if I even just show a half an inch loss that it something. He says he can tell I am losing when he hugs me. But I want to be able to tell! The irrational part of my mind is thinking that I am doing this all for nothing because I can't see any progress yet.

I'm trying to stay positive by reading the forum and about everyone's successes. Has there been anyone with close to this much to lose on here?

Thank you! you are too kind. I have really hurt my progress this past weekend and am working extra hard this week to undo that damage. I had a planned cheat. It was still worth it though. We all lose at different rates, you are doing fantastic too! Keep at it.
