LOL!!!

You show off!

Ok, I'll go search that.. thanks :)

Hmmmm... those noodles look mighty interesting. I'll have to to give those a try.

I have a tendency to be a noodle snob. Must be the Italian coming out in me. I think it's the pasta that has gotten me in a bit of weight trouble.

Yes, they are.

To find them, try your coach first. You can always order them on line, but they're heavy since they're packed in water, so that could get pricey. I was able to get them in local grocery stores in Hawai'i but that's probably predictable given the large American population with Japanese heritage. If you have a Japanese grocery nearby, try that. If they don't have them, ask if they can get them.

I am able to purchase them at my grocery store (Publix in Florida), which is a pretty standard store around here.

We have a fairly large ethinically versed community and I THINK there are a few Japanese stores in town. I may have to run it by my husband to find out for sure.. Thank you soooo much!!!

1.) I truly do LOVE myself. I am honestly committed to living a healthier lifestyle and making the changes necessary to do that!
2.) I am much stronger than I ever realized. I can resist the temptations that come with living this lifestyle!
3.) I CAN do this!!! My first 3-4 days of IP I thought I was nuts for ever spending the money to start this journey and that I would never be able to withstand the time it was going to take to make it happen!! I still have moments of doubt, but I now know that I can push through those tough times and look forward to what the future will hold..
I have WI # 2 on Monday. I am looking forward to it, although I don't think I will lost quite as much as I did last week, and that is fine!! As long as I lose SOMETHING, even if it's inches and no pounds!
Hope everyone has had a great weekend thus far!!! :dizzy:

You took the words right out of my mouth! I have my WI tomorrow too. GOOD LUCK!!! :)

In ketosis??? IDK!!

Ok I'm on day thirteen, and I still would love to have something carby!! I don't understand. I am not hungry, but I want it. I thought my cravings would be long gone by now. I don't know if I am in ketosis or not?? I don't feel like I have had any of the symptoms. No fruity breath, no funny taste in my mouth, IDK? Should I go get some ketone strips?? :?: My first WI was -9 pounds, and I have been doing EVERYTHING RIGHT. No cheats, no nibbles of anything, have been eating my vegetables, my oil and salt and doing the IP products as my coach tells me too. Have been drinking 64 oz. water plus everyday. I don't get it why do I want chips, cookies, licorace, mexican food :stress:......is it mind over matter at this point, am I just thinking I want these things.....ugh!!! Going to get ANOTHER cup of herbal tea. :(

Woke up this morning feeling great!!! Stepped on my scale and It's in the 160's although it's 169.5 it's good enough for me to feel victory. In 2 weeks I've left behind the 80's the 70's and now working on getting rid of the 60's. YIPPEE what great encouragement for the new week. Going by my scale that's 14.5 pounds in 16 days what more can a person ask for...

For all of you out there just starting this program, hang in there it REALLY does work and you will feel better then you have felt in a long time.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!!

WTG!!!!! yes we do accept fractions, right??? lol i've been bouncing at 169.5 for 10 days or so...... here's to kicking the 160's in the butt!:kickbutt:

I'm confused - you're only on day 3 but you've already had your first WI where you were down 9 lbs? Some people take up to 10 days to get into ketosis. Don't worry about buying ketostix. You don't need them - if you follow the program and don't cheat, you will get into ketosis. Sometimes the cravings don't go away. I still get cravings now and then. You might just be wanting something carby out of habit. Keep drinking your water! Try to be hitting closer to 100 oz. a day. 64 oz. is the BARE MINIMUM and you really should be trying to get in 1/2 oz. of water per pound + 10 oz.
