What usage has produced the best tightening results for people? Using the collagen as a 4th packet or just 2-3 a week?

I don't have an answer for that. It seems everyone has there own best answer. I don't have any issues after losing nearly 90 pounds and I only used the jello and pomegranate drink 3 to 4 times a week. I didn't use extra packets.

I see that this is an older thread but WOW is very interesting. I was actually looking to see if anyone had found a way to mix the Raspberry Jello easily or at least a little easier than the lumpy not dissolving time I'm having. I love the flavor but with fibromyalgia remnants this is hard for me. I'll be 60 this year and the almost 50 pound loss has really added some significant years to my facial skin. It appears much more wrinkled and almost stretch marky... a real encouragement to do this while you're younger!!! Smile. Anyway, I'm wanting to use it more but having trouble with the mixing. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

MayKc how are you mixing it? I have only had it once and I kind of made it like I would regular jello and it worked. I have the Blueberry Cranberry Pomagrenite drink almost every day. I was also told you could get the collegen but it takes place of one of your packets... and I like my packets way too much...

This is so true. I was misinformed and having the jello as the snack packet for three straight days. The result? Three very snappy, starving days!

THank you, Rocky Monarch, for confirming and validating my experience.

At 59 years of age and 4 kids you'd think I'd know how to make jello. Sigh... I just followed the packet instructions with the boiling water etc. It was really hard to get rid of all the little pockets of powder.

I seem to remember, some 30 years ago, a GF in the Airforce (another wife and mom) had a secret to making the process much easier and more successful. She'd let it sit for about 5 minutes first then stir... or something like that. I'm just wondering if anyone has found a way to make this a little easier for this ole fibro lady. Smile. I was amazed at how great it tasted and with my new sagging facial skin could sure use the collagen. I tried the PomBlu Drink and found it way too strong... Maybe I should use more water than called for?

I know jello shouldn't be this hard to do... Do you like the Peach Mango drink? Have you ever combined it with the jello? I have a recipe for that somewhere.... Okay so won't answer your question on mixing, but one of these days I am going to try it. So when I made it I boiled water, put the jelly in a bowl and stirred in the water until everything dissolved. I will buy jelly next week and test it out again and get back to you...

here is the recipe if you are interested

Mango Sunrise-(Phases 1-4)

(Raspberry Flavored Gelatin)

Ingredients:

1 packet of Ideal Protein Raspberry Gelatin
1 packet of Ideal Protein Peach Mango Drink

Preparation:

Mix the Ideal Protein Raspberry Gelatin and the Ideal Protein Peach Mango Drink in a bowl. Refrigerate until solid. Will separate into 3 'Sunrise' colors. Delicious enough to serve to guests

Thank you so very much ROLLERCOASTER... I have both and am going to go mix them up right now for today's lunch and I guess tonight's snack or a meal tomorrow. It sounds like it's right down my alley in that I am an artist and LOVE color and color combinations on my palet. Add those to my taste palate and it might just be a new fav for me. I'll let you know. I spent all day yesterday perusing the recipe threads and got some great ideas but it was so much so fast that all the ideas sort of spilled out of my brain. Sigh... (will be 60 this year LOL). This one idea is handleable and sounds like fun and yum and will be worth the mixing/dissolving challenge for me. Thanks so much for your help.

Yummy!!!! Guess what I will be making today?

I was coached to use the raspberry gelatin or berry drink as an additonal packet only and to consume after exercise.

I had this same problem, so I mix 2 or 3 packs in the blender at a time, then pour into cups and stick in the fridge so there is always one ready. It never has any lumps and I love it!

CarrieElizabeth what a great idea! I'll have to try that 'cause I really do love the flavor and my skin would love love love the collagen! Smile. The Mango Sunrise came out pretty good. I'd suggest not mixing the two together with a wire whip. A gentle mixing will make it easier for the colors/flavors to separate. Smile. I WILL try again. Smile. Thanks again for the great idea and wonderful/fun lunch 2RIDERROLLERCOAST! Smile.

I was just looking through my IP paperwork and here is what is says:

"If you are concerned about cellulite or loose skin, be sure to have one of the collagen packets every SECOND day: either the Blueberry, Cranberry & Pomegranate drink or the Raspberry Gelatin. During the Maintainance Phase, you may enjoy one each day"

How funny... It just goes right along with us all saying that we must follow our own counselors. They might be giving us more allowance in another area. We need "the whole picture" from each counselor if we're gonna start grabbing from each other's notes.

Here is my initial consultation note 12
12. If you are concerned about cellulite or loose skin, be sure to have one of the collagen packets every day: either the Blueberry, Cranberry & Pomegranate drink or the Raspberry Gelatin.

A number of you have expressed things you're allowed that I'm not. I'm jus sayin'. Smile.

I was told to alternate the jello and the pom drink for "tighter skin" and cellulite reduction. I didn't believe my coach and don't drink it every night.

I had the same issue! But a few days (maybe a week) there was talk about the homemade sugar-free jello and I've been making that with the sugar-free Kool-Aid. So Yummy!!! Hit the spot for me.
I was never told the jello and drink was restricted. and i was told making my own sugarfree jello wasn't allowed because of the artifical sweetener...i'm so confused!
