For me, I chose one of my old screen names when I used to IM off of Yahoo while I was in Arabic school for the Army. Yankeefan (I love the NY Yankees) and 14040, the zip code of the area I am near in Buffalo, NY.
I've always loved the name Josephine. Not sure why but I always did. In french people say "regarde qu'est ce qu'elle fait, la Josephine!" It means "look at what she is doing, that Josephine!". I guess the name stuck with me.
My paw paw (grandfather) always called me Joliebug. It stuck, and much of my family calls me that as an endearment. My avatar is a picture of my twins at 9 months old.
Well... I always look in the mirror and wonder "who is that fat chick? where did she come from??? That certainly isn't the picture of me that is in my head!!!" But... I CANNOT WAIT till I look in the mirror and say "damn! who's that hottie in the mirror! oh wait!!! It's me!!!" So I guess it was a name that can serve me both now and in the future!
Mine is pretty self explanatory. The horse that I plan on competing on when I hit goal weight is a reining horse. My avatar is a 28 year old barrel horse that taught all three of my daughters how to ride. I swear his eyes can look right into your soul. If I have a bad day all I need for a pick me up is to wrap my arms around his neck, take a deep breath, and just spill all my troubles. He always listens and he never judges. He was foaled in my parents barn and has been passed down thru us four kids and seven grandkids. He is truly a special guy.
Nonie because I am "Nonie" (rhymes with Pony) to my three grandchildren and "Runs" because I run. Half marathons are my favorite distance but I've done a few marathons, relays, and other shorter distances.
And when I reach my IP goal I hope to be running faster!
Sooner22 - My husband's family is in Oklahoma (we live in the Pacific Northwest) and I have run the OKC Memorial Half two times. We are going there again this year but I'm doing a Half in Nashville on April 30 and walking the 5K in OKC with the family on May 1.
Is it hard to be a Sooner fan and live in TEXAS? LOL
