anyone use Ketone strips to test ketosis? What has been your experience?
Mornings are the darkest, by evening time they get lighter, after working out they are for sure lighter. Don't go by the color at all, if it shows any then you are fine and in ketosis. Color is very variable and dependant on your level of hydration. AND at the begining they were always darker, after the first few weeks mine never ever got to be way dark; I like to think it was because my body was using the ketones more efficiently. Bottom line though, first thing in the morning is the best test.

Tomorrow is weigh in day...really worried about it, hopefully a loss no matter how small....I work in a hospital and I can't believe how many Doctors are on this diet, now when they come to pick up their patients list they always say how is it going and we all compare our losses for the week...It is like a little diet community

I too feel this board has some incredibly strong women who love and nourish others, and Now are taking care of themselves with a DIET PLAN that actually works!

I have also been concerned about her. I can only hope she knows Michael is with his father now. I will definitely keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers!

WI#4 tomorrow. Pretty sure I'm out of ketosis for some reason. I've been starving all day. Maybe my little episode last night caused it. Oh well- I've given up trying to explain how my body reacts to stuff. As long as I'm not bleeding profusely or dying by some other means, it doesn't really matter.
I've got baked chicken in the over marinated in WF BBQ sauce. Should be a good meal. We'll see.
