  • OMG~I too am so sorry for your loss~What a beautiful cowboy he is in that picture & he always will be in your memories & heart & mine. I can't even imagine what your going through~Other than a little boy I use to babysit drowned In a nearby creek while in his parents care~& it took me forever to get on with life & it still hurts~The parents are still having major issues with it~So it will take lots of time for u to even care what were doing on here.So do not worry about us ~we will worry about u.Even though accidents do happen & God had another plan for him it's so hard to understand Why he took the beautiful little cowboy above~I wish I knew so I could tell u~He was just to young to be gone~God can seem so cruel sometimes But He does things by his plan.I will never undertstand it.I yell at him sometimes to this day for taking my father to quickly.(because he has the say so to our time on earth)I again am so sorry for your loss~Your defenitely in My prayers & thoughts~ I cry with u~I mourn with u~& I stand by u Through this time of pure heartache & break. Your loss was alot to bear~If u ever need an ear message me anytime.

  • There's a short story by Stephen Crane in which, against all odds, a major character drowns. Crane says "Accidents are a propos of nothing." I've thought of that over and over again when senseless, heart-searing, devastating accidents happen. Over the years it's come to make me thing of the cruel meaningless of this kind of accident and the nothingness and the void that undeserved guilt sometimes try to fill. My heart bleeds for you and yours.
