Congrats on the weight loss and your resolve, I don't know if I could follow a diet so regimented but kudos to you and your success! You look like a completely different person, and beautiful and confident to boot!

Wow, Koren Michelle you are such an inspiration and you've got me so motivated. You look like a completely different person. You were a beautiful woman before but now you're a knock-out and you are proof that weight loss can be done without surgery. I know you are very proud of your accomplishment. Thank you so much for telling your story.

Wow Koren!!! So honest!!! I love it! I just think your honesty is sooo refreshing...like a breath of fresh air (as to the bullsh*t we usually breath!). I'm glad that your "diet" worked for you and that you now have true happiness with a nice, hot latino (yowzzza!). Really...you deserve it!
I think you nailed it when you said "do what works for you"...I think alot of people need to understand that! BTW, I couldn't do your diet (love fat too much), but Atkins works great for me and I really don't feel deprived with all the low-carb substitutions and variety...but I'm sure Atkins is not everyone's cup of tea.

Thanks for your honesty...it's inspiring...I wish everyone were as "real" as you are! Joyce

Hi, I was looking for inspirational stories while trying to decide what diet would work best for me. After I came across your before and after pictures and read your story, I immediately joined and decided that it was time to stop waiting for tomorrow and do something today. You are absoutely gorgeous and what an amazing job you did losing the weight. The 5 minutes I've spent reading your story has been the most inspirational 5 minutes of my life. So thank you...

Thanks for sharing! I needed that. While I am not in the exact same boat (SW/Ht, etc.), we are all in the same boat with regards to health and wellness, both physical and mental. I will come back every so often to remind myself what you have overcome.

Thank you so much for posting your story. A true inspiration.
I really loved the part where you and your boyfriend had a nice laugh with your ex on the phone.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the beautiful words. The kindness and the warmth of the people that post on this forum is truly unbelievable. Thank you to all the people that have added me on Myspace and who I've corresponded with. I love answering all of your questions and getting to know you.

My second life-long dream after losing weight was to graduate from college, which I accomplished two weeks ago when I awarded my BA in English. My main-squeeze and I moved to the beach area into a nice, quiet bungalow that I am steadily filling with beautiful things, I am on the hunt for a new career and I am waiting to hear back about grad school. Life is more than good. Life *is* the dream. However, I was recently inspired to pursue a creative endeavor that revolves around struggling with weight. It's going to be my next big project; I'll keep you all posted.

Kudos to all of my beautiful, strong ladies (and the men too)! You likewise inspire and move me every time I come here. I wish you all health, success and love in your lives. Keep the ads and the messages coming. I love getting to know you.

You are such an inspiration. While we are not starting out in the same place, your transformation is jaw-dropping. I have been kicking, scratching, and clawing my way back to 145 pounds for a month, but this is the longest I have ever stayed on a diet and seeing pics and words like yours make me want to keep going. Thank you.
