Chewing Challenge!
Hi guys!
I fell off the wagon a bit recently, but in the past couple of weeks I've gotten down to 116 pounds from eating intuitively and slowly. I've got four pounds to lose by the 15th September (starting university!), so I can start at 8 stone. I know it doesn't seem like a lot of weight to lose, but on my frame I know it will make a difference.
To lose the weight, I'm going to chew each bite of food 50-100 times (including liquid foods) before swallowing. I'm personally doing intuitive eating, but no matter what diet you guys are following, or how much weight you need to lose, please don't hesitate to join me in my challenge and see if it works for you!
Chewing more works because it makes you feel full and satisfied quicker, and is also better for your digestive system and helps you absorb nutrients more efficiently.
