Hey Everybody! Our computers were down all day yesterday! Can you believe Corp. HAD to do an update on our programs yesterday. Holely moley, they couldn't have picked a more busy time.

We had a great time in Nashville, but I was pooped when we got home on Sunday.

Bright, DH loves American Idol too, who did you vote for? He wouldn't even go to Wally world last night 'cause he might miss part of it. The man is sooooooo attached to his TV.

I started a low carb diet on Monday, I just can't seen to get it together. Not following any one in particular, just trying to cut way back on carbs and eat protein that's been grilled or baked. Hoping that some quick results will get me started.

Girls, no time for shouts, gotta run, but just wanted to say hey, oh I mean YaYa!

We certainly have a lot in common - overworked (probably underpaid), stressed out women who need to eat less and exercise more.

I'm still snowed with work - and interviewing people to find a new receptionist.

Doing better with the food - lost 2 pounds last week. Maybe busy is better. Need to exercise but time is the problem.

Whew! Finally made it in here today. What was it you were saying, Quilter? Overworked and stressed out? Yep.

Just wanted to say hello and hope you're all doing OK. I often think about you guys, things you've said, places you've been, etc. even though I don't always get a chance to come in and chat.

Guess that's what friends are for.

Hey all,

SEMO: I couldn't get thru on the American Idol lines but I have 3 favorites: Kimberly, Clay, and Trenyce (not sure on the spelling). I think they all have talent this time around....it is gonna be difficult to pick in the end!

Cafe: We had sun today and I have really felt better with the fabulous weather in the 60's! I think I have a little S.A.D.D.

Gotta go guys....I think American Idol is on again tonight! I'll keep you posted....

Snow in the forecast again today. AUGH!!!! I am so weary of winter! My bulbs have started to sprout at home. I'm hoping they'll be OK if the weather doesn't warm up soon.

I'm hoping "I" will be OK!

So picture it. Last night around 1:30 in the morning, my dog decides he has to go out. Around 2-ish I wake up on the sofa and suddenly remember the dog! I look out back. I poke my head out. I wander out onto the snowy ground in my robe and bare feet and discover that the gate's open and pup is "dog-gone"!!!

So here are Rich and I running up and down the streets at 2AM trying not to cause too much of a stir, trying to find the dog! Fortunately, Watson's 14 years old, has a touch of arthritis in all four legs and doesn't move all that fast. He's also been taught not to cross any streets (unless of course some squirrel or stray cat taunts him into it ) so we found him pretty quick. And he came home willingly ... although as slowly as he possibly could.

Hm, can I count that as exercise for the day????

Well, big employee meeting this morning at 9 complete with doughnuts. We got some big contract and, of course, have to EAT to celebrate it just like everything else. Why don't they just give me my share of the doughnut money instead? What's a doughnut cost these days? A buck or two? I could find a better use for that, I think.

Talk to you later!

Hello Everybody. Got a little rain last night so I have a bit of a breather.

Jello, tisk, tisk. Street walker in a nighty! I know I have a sick sense of humor! Glad that you found your doggie.

Sounds as if everyone is having a busy week. But one thing is for sure when you're busy the weekend gets here faster! Yea.

Dang, just got a stack of invoices to run. Catch ya'll later.

Morning everyone!

Congrats to Bright and Quilter on your losses!!

Overworked... stressed out... all need to lose a few... Ya think it's related? (runs off to practice deep breathing techniques)...

Okay so I haven't been really counting up my food this week but I think I've been doing okay? I can tell I should start writing it down, though. Maybe I'll be ready to add that next week. My focus right now has been on not letting stress get to me! I want to keep that vacation feeling as long as possible.

Gotta run, it's noisy here and I keep losing my train of thought!

{{{hugs}}}

edited to add - Jello, nightie, walking street, LOL!!! SEMO, I love your sick sense of humor today.

And who says there aren't job opportunities out there! Okay, I'll be nice before they lock us out of our thread!

Anyone else have something interesting to reveal? I need more entertainment.

Hallllloooooo!?!?! Anybody home!??! Gee, Semo, you scared them off!

Kidding. Just kidding. You know that.

Well, anyway, TGIF everyone!!! Hope you've all got great plans for the weekend. Weather's supposed to finally warm up a bit here. I'll be inside laying (careful Semo! ) wood floor but it'll be nice to warm up and see the sun.

Hope you all have a good one!!

Don't know who that woman was that took over Semo's body yesterday. Guess working with all these men has finally put me over the edge.

Jello, will the flooring finish up your re-modeling? It is such a chore to try and re-do while you're working, cooking and trying to keep up with everything else. Will be soooooooo nice when you're done tho. You and Tig will be able to go into a new business when your finished. Two lady carpenters! Oh wait I just saw a joke in that...... dang, my body has been overtaken again. Maybe it's hanging with my head down in all those power yoga moves, must have broken something loose..........

Here's our Friday dance.....

Doing okay on the low carb diet, in fact the scale was down some this morning. Yea!!!! Still exercising my little heart out, and starting to see some improvement. Happy about that, even if it is ever so slight.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and has time to catch us up on what's been going on.

YA'LL HEAR THAT, WE MISS YA!!

More Friday Dance!
Sorry I've been sorta MIA. Lifes been throwing me lots of lemons and I just can't make the bleep'n lemonade fast enough!
First, I have a blow-out (no not in my pants), rear tire. Then, the transimission goes out on me. I know it isn't all my fault, but sure wish it didn't all have to happen when I was driving. jeesh. Today, I had the new truck....I was literally scared to drive it for fear something would happen to me. You could say I have a wee bit of stress in my shoulders right about now.

Other stuff, saw my Dad this week for the first time since he started radiation and chemo. I was scared I would break down when I saw him w/o hair, but held myself. And, grateful my kids didn't seem too shocked.

Oh, and I have a terrible head cold. Lemons!

Semo, you little exercise queen! I wanna be like Semo!

Jello, I've chased after our little dog in my socking feet through the mud! A few monthes ago we got an electric collar. It's remote control. Does wonders. I know it sounds cruel, but DH tested it on me...not so bad.

Cafe, I want vacation feeling! Hold onto it girl!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm off to put away the groceries...lots of fruits and veggies.

Happy Friday!

I'm glad it's the weekend! Tiger, I'm holding on to that vacation feeling for dear life. I'm so sorry about all the stress you're going through! I hope the sunshine that most places seem to be getting this weekend helps you too.

Jello-SEMO- you guys crack me up!!

Have a great weekend if I don't make it back in this afternoon!

Edited to add: OMG! Tiger, her husband the electric dog collar?! ROTFL!

TGIFA!! Thank God It's Friday Afternoon! Only 4 more hours or so to go....

I'll never make it.

Boss is back from his trip and a raving lunatic ... still. But now it's live and in person.

Semo, ah, if only it were the end of the remodeling. As the song goes, we've only just begun. We completely redid the kitchen and installed patio doors in the back last year. This year, it's new floors in the dining room and living room.

I fear the future.

Tiger, lots of people use the electric collars and invisible fencing. Personally, I don't think it's a bad idea. But my guy is, like I said, about 14 YO and usually doesn't move very fast. And I'm proud to say that he's pretty well trained and doesn't usually go too far if and when he does get out. If he starts to get too far, I can just say his name calmly and it stops him in his tracks. If I'm there to do it! Silly me, I like to sleep during the night hours.

BTW Tiger, have you considered lemon pie, lemon bars, lemon slushies, lemon pepper chicken, lemon cookies with lemon icing??? Seriously, sorry to hear about your troubles. When it rains lemonade, it pours lemonade.

Cafe, you snuck in while I was hitting the post reply button. Have a good weekend!

And the same goes for all of you!
