I got in 45 minutes of bellydancing today...mostly reviewing moves from the last couple weeks classes. Great for cardio and toning-not to mention you feel pretty sexy shaking your booty and twirling a silk veil around...

Good Morning, had a tough time exerciseing this am, why is it that some days you sail right through and others, every move is a struggle.

I got in an hour today...45 minutes of weight training...and 15 minutes of dance practice with my veil. I went up to using 8 pound weights recently for my biceps...and I am really starting to see more definition and curve in them-I love it.

I can't believe what a slug I've been this month. I've only done three workouts so far. So I am recommitting starting today. I even signed up for a Pilates class to start next week.

I am late joining this thread... so went back and calculated approx. what I have done this month so far and it is somewhere around 650 (actually more I think but will go with that) ... so I am going to say 1300 for the month.
Today I went to the fitness center twice since my goal is at least 3 times a week and I had only been once this week. I only started working out about a month ago but I just increased from 45 minutes to an hour on cardio (treadmill, cross trainer, occasional bike) and then do strength training. 1300 - 650 = 650 Sue:o |

You are right that some days it is easy and others a real struggle. On those difficult days I just figure if I don't go all that fast on the treadmill or cross trainer, whatever, that is okay... just DO it and keep on going and not get discouraged. That thinking has helped me a lot in not feeling defeated on those days when I just can't get with it! It's okay and there will be other days when I do better! Sue |
