Default Itchy right before weight loss?

I've been working on weight loss for about 7 months now, and I've lost 25 pounds. My scale never seems to move in tenths of a pound, but usually in 2 pound increments. I've noticed that every time, before a drop in weight, I get really itchy the night before. Laying in bed, I'll just be itchy all over. Not just a light skin itch, but almost a really deep itch that isn't relieved by scratching. Sure enough, the next day I'm down a couple pounds. Does this ever happen to anyone else, or am I just weird?

Hm, I have experienced bouts of itchiness at night in the past few months but I never correlated it with the scale. I'll definitely pay attention next time I feel so itchy!

I lost 40 lbs between Nov 2010 and Nov 2011 doing low-sugar for my "50 Pounds in 50 Weeks" project. I bounced halfway back up so I'm back for more!
