I'm sure that only eating raw vege's and doing exercise would definately result in weight loss, but the great thing is - you can eat a lot more than that and still lose weight, tone up and feel great.
before you commit to such a drastic change please take a look at other programmes which offer a balance of foods. I am on Body for Life and really loving it. I get to eat six times a day, eat heaps of yummy things, I certainly work hard at the gym but the results have been awesome! - and they could be for you too.
I can assure you that we have all been at that place of looking for drastic measures, and wanting the weight gone 'tomorrow'. But if you can find a plan which you can committ to for life - one with variety, flexibility and balance, you will surely reach your goal - and stay there.
