I just started a playlist for my iPod for walking and so far I have:

I'm too sexy - Right Said Fred
Vibeology - Paula Abdul
Get the Party Started - Pink
Just Dance, Cosmic Girl, Virtual Insanity - Jamiraquoi (butchered the spelling, sorry)
Black Horse and the Cherry Tree - KT Tunstall
Grazin in the Grass - Raven
Miss Independent, Since U Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson
1985, Almost - Bowling for Soup

Well, that's my list so far. These are all high energy songs that get me going and keep me going. I must look like a fool because I think I may even dance subconsiously while walking....I sometimes catch myself and have to remind myself I live in a small town that talks. I can just hear it now, "Did you see that lady skipping down the road?"

I download dance and techno remixes of pop songs off Napster from artists like Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, etc. Swing music gets me in the exercise mood too so I have Cherry Poppin Daddies and some Squirrel Nut Zippers. I also have a compilation of upbeat country songs from people like Dierks Bentley, Big and Rich, Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson and Tim McGraw. I'm not a country fan but the pop-rock crossover stuff is fun. I also have some bellydance music that I generally dance to, but I also like to play it when I'm on my Gazelle. Shakira is also good for dancing or any aerobic stuff.

I am an eclectic music lover. My ipod currently contains such hits as:

Fighter - Christina Agulara-sp?
Toxic - Britney Spears
Policy of Truth - Depeche Mode

And about 100 others along those lines. I have Jazz, Hip Hop, Country, Rock, Christian, Techno, Pop, etc....

Whatever works best for you and keeps you moving.
