I've been going to a lot of zumba classes lately and feel like I could do for the long haul. I started entertaining teaching zumba myself, that way instead of spending money on classes I could get paid to do the same thing (kinda). Has anyone had experience with this? Any advice on how long it might take before you have the skills/endurance of a fitness instructor considering the fat background?

I don't have experience so hopefully someone else will chime in, but I think there's something to be said for doing something you're passionate about, and honestly I would rather work out with a trainer who has overcome than with one that never has experienced being overweight or underfit.

How you could do that before check how to start something like that?? Dancing zumba on your own is different than teaching someone else.

As a customer for zumba, I wouldn't care how big my instructor is as long as they are capable of doing the routine they were teaching. That is what is important.
