Becoming a fitness instructor?
 

I've been going to a lot of zumba classes lately and feel like I could do for the long haul. I started entertaining teaching zumba myself, that way instead of spending money on classes I could get paid to do the same thing (kinda). Has anyone had experience with this? Any advice on how long it might take before you have the skills/endurance of a fitness instructor considering the fat background?

I don't have experience so hopefully someone else will chime in, but I think there's something to be said for doing something you're passionate about, and honestly I would rather work out with a trainer who has overcome than with one that never has experienced being overweight or underfit. :)

How you could do that before check how to start something like that?? Dancing zumba on your own is different than teaching someone else.

As a customer for zumba, I wouldn't care how big my instructor is as long as they are capable of doing the routine they were teaching. That is what is important.
