Good grief bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th and you are swinging at balls.

Axford didn't know where those pitches were going!!

Garcia to the DL, Westbrook DL. That's 2 starters we've lost this week. You can never have enough pitching. Time for the youngsters to step up.

I'm going to the game today with a friend. She has nice seats and it will be a cool 90 degrees.

Had a good day at Busch yesterday and we got a win.

Back to the west coast, I hate those late games.

Guess I can't complain! 3 out of 4 from the Giants. Overall, the Rockies looked good!

The Junior College World Series starts on Saturday! I'm so ready to spend a lot of time watching baseball!!

Well we saw the bad bullpen last night.

I really do not like playing in that ballpark in San Diego.

And Daniel Descalso hits a grand slam after Jay was walked ahead of him. Love it.

Tonight going for the series win with a rookie pitching just came up from the minors.

We won, too. I didn't see the game because it was during the day. Off tonight and then we play the Giants. I think it is an away game, so our teams will be on the west coast together, Clyde!

I forgot to mention we went to the Chelsea Manchester City football game last night at Busch Stadium.

That was really weird, a football pitch in the middle of Busch Stadium. However we had a good time. The place was packed over 48,000.

Now the grounds crew have to buckle down and get the field ready for the Cards coming back to play on Friday. I think they have enough time. We have 2 more series on the road, Gary's Dodgers and the Royals.

Dodger Stadium, we always seem to have hard games there.

What do you mean by a football pitch? I don't get it.

We're at the Giants tonight. And JUCO world series baseball starts tomorrow! We're going to the banquet tonight and then 4 games tomorrow! Love this stuff. My son is on the grounds crew again this year, so he's all kinds of excited.

Diane, the football field. That's what we call it back home, the football pitch. Nothing to do with baseball.
