For fathers day we're going to the beach and I'm so freking nervous about going out in my bikini in public! I already havemy bikini but bought it for mainly around the house as I only go to the beach about once a year and hadn't really planned on going this year. Even though I've lost the weight and at goal I'm still so nervous about actually wearing it out it in public! I feel like my thighs and butt jiggle to much and everyone would notice. I should be excited with the chance to show off my new body in public but instead I'm like freaking out about it. I don't know if I'll strip down to my bikini but i'm hoping i'll be able to gather enough courage to wear it without being over self conscious.

Anybody else feeling the same way about going to the beach/pool this summer?

Butts and thighs are supposed to jiggle! I don't know about SoCal but I know around NY you see people 200+ wearing bikinis and no one judges because everyone is too busy being self conscious about themselves.

A million times this!!!!! You look amazing and if it's any consolation Im going to Cuba in September and Im half/half because I have stretch marks on my stomach that are gonna be enhanced with my tan but I'll consider them my battle wounds of my weight loss. So wear your bikini and BE PROUD of what you've accomplished!!

Rock your bikini, you've earned struting your stuff! I got nervous about walking the beach in my bikini (first one ever in my life!) but I quickly realized... no one was looking at me like "OMG how could she?!" it was more like "Wow, she's brave and I like that".

I wiggle, jiggle and I'm pasty with stretch marks and cellulite. I spent too much time hiding behind my body, no more!
