I wouldn't have been fit, heck I didn't even know to burp a baby until I ended up at the hospital with my own screaming newborn! (I was.... 25?? 26??))

My cousin however was taking care of babies at 12 and very smart at it. Her 17 year old childless butt was instructing me on the phone when I had problems with my own baby LOL

It's all in their ability! Maybe she can do it again sometime and give you a nice dinner break!!!

At 12 I went from being babysat to babysitting...age doesnt make as much difference as the person

When I was 12 I watched five kids everyday by myself when I was 15 I watched six kids alll the time there mot+er was pretty messed up at the time . I was perfectly able to do it with no problem. If something happened im sure she knows how to use the phone its always hard to leave your kids with someone. Im sure she will do just fine. Go have fun

I began watching kids at age 11.. But I was a very mature 11 year old. If you dont feel comfortable then I wouldn't do it. I know if I had children then I probably wouldn't leave my kids with anyone under 16-17 years old. And that's only if I knew the 16-17 year old pretty well.
