Her team-mates did well too.
So we will be going to the state championship in June. In your old neck of the woods Gary. Bloomington Normal at Illinois State.
We did have tickets for today's game but sold them when we found out the date of the competition.
All in all a good day and the Cardinals won too.
Congrats to your daughter ! That's fantastic ! You must be very proud of her...

Sweetcaroline , ya gotta work on being more precise in your predictions. You needed to predict,
...get to and stay at 500 this weekend, LOL.
It was nice to be at 500 for a day before losing the last game of the series. Six out of the last seven on the road is OK in my book.

I noticed at the game on Saturday against the Dodgers, the Hall of Fame got Bryce Harper's bat and ball from his first hit.
Isn't that a bit premature? Or is it just me?
Does he not have to prove himself first? The guy is 19 years old for goodness sake.
Matt Kemp will get 50 home runs if he keeps playing the way he is. He needs to get on base though to get the 50 stolen bases.
That game of ours yesterday agh
Still won the series but come on guys.
Dianne's Rockies just need to play us. They always get hot after that.
Enjoy your games today.

Big Bird, I didn't know that.
I watched the game, with the sound off as I usually do, and saw the double over Kemp's head and then saw the ball come rolling into the dugout area. I just assumed it was coming in for Bryce, something always done on a players first hit in the bigs.
Yep, I would say that is definitely premature!
Talk about added pressure!

You watched with the sound off?
Vin Scully! I love to listen to him.

When I said we need to bring Dianne's Rocks up a bit, I didn't mean by losing to them!
