OMG tonight's episode was wild!! I am so glad that Shane is gone, I kind of knew why he tried getting Rick out into the woods alone. I am curious about the dead (but not bitten) such as Shane turning into zombies anyway!! That was a major pack of zombies headed their way, definitely going to be a mess.
EDIT: I think the group is really going to miss Shane now because he would have been a great asset in protecting against that huge group of zombies!

That was a crazy *** ending, and if they don't tell us how those two became zombies I will go nuts!

I definitely didn't think they would kill off Shane being a main character...he was always good for drama. But he was going crazy since he killed Otis. Well they said they are signed up for a season three where they will introduce "the governor"...another villain to take Shane's drama roll I guess. I just hope it lives up to the first two seasons!

So the two gunshots that were fired attracted all those zombies to the farm, but the massacre at the barn attracted nothing?? And when did Carl go back for the gun? He dropped it when he was struggling with the walker that killed Dale, and they didn't show him go back for it.
But other than those two things, great episode! I can't say I was sorry to see Shane go. I also felt bad for Randall. Great to see T-Dog actually have lines!
Carl seems to pop up everywhere. lol

Well they mentioned that the swampy areas that helped keep zombies at bay was firming up as winter is approaching. And seeing herds happened on the freeway so that was alluded to. But good points. I was surprised that Shane was taken out so soon though not sorry to see him go. The only person safe is Rick unless they veer completely from the comic.

Oh I missed that....Does anybody know how long they've actually been into the zombie apocolypse? Can't have been too long as Lori isn't showing any baby bump. What do the comics say?

I was counting days, it was 13 when they brought Randall home. Add a week till they were going to release him and couple more days.

It seems like they spent at least a few weeks looking for Sophia..and however long it took Carl to heal from the gunshot.

I know! I kind of wished they had told him that before they shot him in the head.

I'm a week late in responding about Dale..I also thought it was horrible that no one tried to comfort him, kneel down by him, maybe close his eyes so he wouldn't see the gun...but I guess that he raised his head to the gun meant that he knew and wanted it to be done.
