Ehh, my nephew is a Cards fan and for years and to this day, I pronounce Albert's name wrong (Poo-joes) just to tease him. We all have our childish moments. ;)

Ya, the Rangers have had an interesting start to the season. Wow!

Not much going on in Rockies land. One loss, one win, one rain/snow cancellation.

I hope they have a year better than last but...

Traditionally (thinking 2009 season) they've done well the first half then take a nose dive after the All-Star break - they really lacked stamina. I just hope last year wasn't a fluke!

Should be nice for the game tonight temperature-wise but I'm interested to see how the strong winds will affect the game. They certainly didn't help on Friday afternoon when they kicked up.

It looks like the rain tomorrow is supposed to arrive shortly after the game starts. Hopefully it will be late and we can get the game in.

Ahhhh, baseball in April. It's a crap shoot! :D

Woo! Rangers are 5-0!! Ogando got a win his first game as a starter. Lowe almost blew it allowing two runs but Oliver got em out and Feliz closed it.

It was the bright spot of my baseball day. Even though I didn't get to hear a lick of it! Despite starting an hour after the Sox game, it was done as they were going into extra innings. Less than 2 hour game!

That was close but we got the win.

I really don't like playing the Pirates early in the season.

Yeah, 0-4, I am without a new thought, myself.

Just lost the series against the Pirates.

This team doesn't look very good at the moment.

Now we have a ten day road-trip out west.

I heard that today. Dang. I guess they want to be careful with him, but a problem with a cuticle seems so insignificant. Oh well, hopefully they will keep up their winning ways. Loved how Street did yesterday and I didn't get to see the game today (stupid work!), but heard they won! Yay! It's a good start.

YAY SOX!!! :cb: It was not a very good game. They gave KC 4 runs easily. Several stupid mistakes. Was not very happy. But then they came back in the top of the 9th to tie it up and then went on to win it in the 12th. I saw the 9th inning rally but had to "watch" the rest on my phone via the Gameday pitch-by-pitch. The guys at the gym got a kick out of that. :D

I think it's a super weird reason to be put on the DL. I can't imagine his cuticle actually even comes in contact with the ball. But there must be something about it I don't understand. Maybe they think it might get infected with all the dirt and rosin that gets on pitchers hands and want to avoid making it worse?

I missed yesterday's game because is was super speedy (less than 2 hours :eek:) and the Sox went into extras. Usually I get to see the end of Rockies games. I didn't see today's either but I did "watch" the top of the 9th at the gym after the Sox game was over.
