An update: I am now 3 weeks post-op. The procedure (Friday March 18) was relatively pain-free and I was back at work on the following Monday, including my regular exercise schedule. I was bloated and constipated from the analgesia/pain meds combo and was up 7 lbs after 3 days but lost it over the next 5 days. My eyelids were even swollen. I was tired but started to feel more like myself by Tuesday or Wednesday. I will see my dr this next Wednesday for a follow-up. All in all this was pretty easy and would have no hesitation about doing it. I have had no out of ordinary symptoms as of yet. But won't really know the final outcome for many months to come. I'll update again when I know more. Thank you everyone for your support/opinions/experiences. It meant alot to me!
