Late to the party but super excited that the spring season is upon us. Feeling very good about both my teams - the White Sox (lifelong fan) and the Rockies (hard not to love a team like them plus they don't play the Sox that often so don't have to worry about cheering against them). Think the Sox are the team to beat in the AL Central, love the additions Kenny made in the off season.

Have pretty much cancelled my usual trip down to PHX to check out the Sox. Can't afford it when I'm trying to start two businesses. I typically go the St. Patrick's Day weekend to see the Sox at home against the Cubs on the Friday with a good friend who winters in AZ and then whoever the Sox play on Saturday and Sunday. But got the brilliant idea to go down in the morning and come back the evening of the Friday game so I still get to enjoy and be back home for the St. Patrick's Day parade the next day. But have to find a smokin' flight deal for that. Although disappointed that I may not make it, since the Sox have a series here this season, I will at least see them in person 3 times.

Now working on getting my opening day tickets. First time in a while I wasn't chosen for the ticket lottery. But I'm sure I'll find something reasonable. Regardless, will still have my annual Beer & Pancake Tailgate at my house before the game prior to walking over to the ballpark.

Yay for baseball season!!!

After a seriously disappointing Patriots season ending.. I am MORE than ready for baseball season to start.

Dear Red Sox, please don't let me down.

Adam Wainwright is out for the season. He will have Tommy John Surgery.

Anyone have a pitcher they want to give up?

Hello Manders. White Sox my favourite Chicago team.

And that's why it's called Spring Training.

Can we have your number 1 starter?

So Chris Carpenter leaves the game injured. Boggs comes in to relieve and leaves the game injured.

This is becoming a joke.
