Can I join in? I'm a HUGE Red Sox fan. And I'm just a baseball fan in general, so I follow pretty much all of the teams, but the Sox are my #1 priority lol

Counting down the days. Brrr it's cold. Those guys coming up from Florida are going to feel it.

Was watching the game today and it was a balmy 85 degrees. Looked so nice. One year we will make it to Spring Training.

I would also love to go to spring training, except I don't have anyone to go with lol. Hopefully one of these days I'll meet a nice guy and we can go down together, or even meet a friend who's into baseball as much as I am.

I go by myself to ST and regular season games a lot. I might meet up with someone for a game at ST or away (I go to Rockies games with others more frequently) but for the most part, I'm on my own. I'm not an outgoing person but someone is usually striking up a conversation with me. I always have a great time. Don't let being by yourself stop you. I bet you'd have a blast.

I actually do go to regular season games by myself. But I'm not sure if I'd feel that comfortable flying down to Florida from Massachusetts by myself for spring training.

Well then I hope you find that guy or gal by next season. ST is so much fun and really a must for any baseball fan.

If it helps at all, not knowing why you don't feel comfortable, when the Sox were in Tucson, it wasn't exactly a nice, populated area. Not a terrible neighborhood by any means but there were certainly better parts of town. I never felt uncomfortable at the hotel, driving around, etc. But I also prefer to travel by myself and typically go on vacations alone so maybe it's just me being used to it.
