The "lads" are here raking up leaves, pine cones, petrified poop and other winter debris. I'm hoping they don't take the whole afternoon as I'm packed, have my boarding pass printed and am ready to roll as soon as they leave. I'm really looking forward to this break - my Christmas trip was a tad stressful with all the snow problems. If Nova Scotia is snowed in, you may never see me here again. Bye.
And try not to hit 500 when I'm not here to pull the plug.
well i have had the chicken pox. my 5 year old should not have to much to worry about because of the vaccination for them. lucky kid.
and for all of you procrastinators just remember "If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done." ~Unknown ( and i sometimes fall into this catagory depending on what needs to do.)
My son got a VERY mild case of chickenpox when my daughter got it at age 4. He was about 5 months old. He got two (TWO!) spots! But then when he was about 2 or 3 years old, he got shingles. It was horrible--he had horrible, horrible huge spots all over half his head. I took him to the ER because I had NO IDEA what it was! He was put on Acyclivir as well as a bunch of other things and amazingly he didn't really suffer much. He did get some horrible scars though. One that deformed his eyelid (but now at age 14 it isn't too noticeable) and several in his hair, so as long as his hair is longish, you can't see them.
