I love shoe shopping. I will buy shoes that I have nothing to wear with them, I just can't resist buying shoes, all kinds.

Operator265 02-13-2009 06:48 PM

Bill-The company was able to cover up enough incidents for the mine to hit 2.5 million hours without a loss time incident. Fortunately, MSHA is cheap and easy to buy in UT. The bags were like workout bags and such. I needed one for my lunch. Thanks to my dill hole boss, I had to buy a new bag and get a pair of boots I don't need.

I have NEVER had so much as an incident, much less Loss Time, and it twists my bosses pins. I'm an absolute Safety Bi*ch. When my youngest was 8 yrs old, she put her foot thru the porch while we were moving a fridge. I told her not to move till we got back. But, when we did get the fridge taken care of and returned, she had applied direct pressure to her wound and put her little soccer cones up around the hole so no one else would go in. My other DD wore steel toes in HS Auto and at work in fast food. My Boss hates that I know more about safety, mining and management than he does. Bad enough anyone does, but, a woman, OH, THE HORROR!!!

I love shoes too.....but I have BIG feet also! size 10.5 or 11!!

I can never find the cute shoes in my size and if I do they usually look ridiculous on me.

My daughter ended up with even bigger feet! Poor thing!

Goddess Operator: Greetings... What a little cutie your daughter was for putting up the cones. You have raised her well!

BillBlueEyes 02-13-2009 07:12 PM

Neat. Thanks for the details.

Operator265 02-13-2009 07:23 PM

Wish I had big feet. Maybe then I could find some F:censored:g steel-toed boots in this stupid burg that fit instead of having to wear them a size too large and having blisters all the f:censored:g time.:tantrum: And, NO!!!! Wearing and extra pair of socks does NOT fill in the extra space and they make my feet sweat giving me additional prune toe blisters. Oops, my fingers must be in "miner speak".

Oh yeah, you're welcome, Bill.;)

Angie is sitting behind me....I asked "You are a size 9 shoe right babe?"...."He$$ no! I'm a 10AA!" but then she is 5.5" tall

My parents were married on Friday 13th in Feb. Just like my dad to not wait for Valentine's Day

Love RED Wings!

What side are you on right now RUTH?.....staying away from your bad one!....don't wanna get on it!

Operator265 02-13-2009 08:42 PM

Gary, I think some folks are looking for you to check into the "Health Food Find" thread under "General Chatter".

Since when do you get to up it to 600 posts WEB?

just 'cause you started this whole mess way back when....

Oops. Got a little excited there I guess. We've been posting so fast, I bet we could get almost to 600 before anyone (especially BILL this week) discovers we're at 500.

I hate that I have to go 180 miles to Rock Springs to get a choice in women's sizes. These aren't even weather-proof.

I started and ran the safety shoe program when I worked in a manufacturing plant when I was an intern in college. There were just a few women's styles and two women with really small feet had to get their shoes from a different company. But there definitely (even way back then) were a number of women's style and sized safety shoes. You'd think there would be even more now. Oh, and we had a truck that came on site a few times a year so people could select and try on shoes in just a short time away from their stations.

I personally wear a ten, so you'd think I could wear men's shoes. However, they're usually too wide for me.

Operator265 02-13-2009 09:25 PM

But, I don't have "small" feet. I wear a 7-8 in women's. Pretty average. I know that's average cause I can never get to the really cute shoes in my size when they are on sale. I can find work boots in 4-10 styles anywhere else on the planet. Just not in Utah. This place is about 50 years behind in the Equal Rights Movement.

Good morning - Size 6 if you must know. There's no way I'd ever find steel-toed Kodiaks and they sure would be handy when I'm working in the barn or the woods.

Hope everyone has some love in their life today. So far I've received tail wags and happy barks from my two current lovers. Tonight I have a date with Rob and John, a gay couple, and will probably collect a few hugs. We are making a duty appearance at a Church supper. I'll die if they have Jello or macaroni salads but the BBQ pork should be good. Only in Canada would they roast a pig in February!

EZMONEY 02-14-2009 07:59 AM

Well it's almost 5am here in California....still no paper....need my sports fix!

I will return...

I think we might make it today!

BillBlueEyes 02-14-2009 08:22 AM

10.5

10 and 1/2.

Is this the new topic?

Oh, and speaking of one being bigger than the other, my right foot has slightly more volume than my left.
