But geez the guys are dropping like flies. Our closer K-Rod apparently came up with back spasms before the game and wasn't available to pitch...and now there are rumors that he collapsed from the pain after the game and had to be taken to the hospital.

So far on this road trip we've had injuries to our 1bman, SS, backup SS, RFer, CFer (luckily he was still able to DH in the AL park), and now our closer. LOL if anybody else gets hurt we might not have enough guys to put out on the field.

My guys beat my guys in 10....but I had a long day at the kids new house so I went to bed thinking my guys would win since they were up 4-1....but they didn't...my guys pulled it out.....it's tough rooting for both but no doubt about it...I bleed blue!

I'm in the middle of baseball overload... and loving it! So, I've lost track of my Rockies. I've watched 7 Junior College World Series games in the last 2 days. There are 3 today, but I may not get to watch them all. I have to do some stuff around the house, laundry, and go to the grocery store.

EZ, Kobe is amazing. I have to admit it! These have been some amazing, thrilling games. I hope we come back tonight and win!!

Boy, Gary, your Dodgers whipped up on us yesterday. I'm not sure what the Rockies have to bring to tonight and tomorrow's games. They're kind of inconsistent. Yep, inconsistent. That's the word.

I was HAPPY with the Nuggets game though. I think this series has been really good. The two teams are really evenly matched. We'll see how it goes!

Clydegirl... everytime I think they should trade away Nick Greene or Julio Lugo they turn it on... big hits, big defense... and we still have Jed Lowrie on the mend... so who knows...

I have to read about Khalil Greene... there are tons of rumors that Ortiz is done...I'm not sure what that means but it makes me very nervous... Does seem that he's been 'rested' and moved around the lineup a lot lately... trying to find a niche... {crossing fingers} these are just rumors...

We won last night against Twins.. close one, our closer Papelbon gave up his second 9th inning HR... but we squeaked out the win and the 'save'...

I was able to watch the padre vs. Rockie game last night with my :p son in law :p So happy to sit next to him when he loses! We had dinner and spent the night at my daughter's condo, she did a marathon today and her place is just about a mile from the half way point. We then were able to walk up and catch her two other spots....got in 5 miles ourselves.

DODGERS :( have back to back losses to those cubs...sorry for those Big Bird but we did get Friday's game for you...hoping for a win tonight too :)
