Oh geez. You can't make this stuff up sometimes. Top 11th tie game b/w Mets and LA. Mets score what looks to be the go ahead run, but the runner missed 3rd base, so is called out.

Bottom of the inning, our pitcher walks the leadoff guy. Than a routine fly ball to the OF and our LF and CFer miscommunicate and nobody catches the ball to put 2nd and 3rd, 0 out. A walk and an out later...bases loaded, we get a ground ball, but our first baseman (who isn't really a 1bman) throws it away to let the winning run score.

It was an ugly finish to an otherwise pretty good game RAZZ....just glad I was on the less-ugly end of it!

Razz - That was unbelievable. I just had to shake my head.

But, the good news is that the Rockies won in Atlanta! Yay!

Oh, and the other good news is that the Junior College World Series starts on Saturday right near where I live! 4 games on Saturday, 3 games on Sunday, 3 games on Monday, right on through the week until the championship game, which is usually Friday night. Gotta love Memorial weekend and baseball!!

We have 3 against the Cubs.

I hope this motivates the team to get a win.

My LAKERS got off to a rough start but are closing in 1/2 way through the second quarter...my boys are not playing yet.

Oh yes...it's on TBS...been on about 4 seasons....short seasons...5 guys 1 girl...sports writers....poker playing...cubs/bears fans...great show if you are into jock stuff. Angie and I just love it.

Well, another tough night for the Rockies. 8-1 thumping by the Braves.

Thought the Nuggets could pull it off last night, but darn, Kobe is good. Great game, though. I'm hoping that my Nuggets come back and win the next one!

Chris Carpenter is back tonight pitching after being on the DL. He is always getting injured. hope he has a good start tonight.

Also my man Rick Ankiel is back after that horrendous collision he had with the wall a couple of weeks ago. All is good ;)

Looks like Ankiel might be back Saturday. We're playing the Royals who are doing really well just now. I am going to the game with my daughter, just the 2 of us as DH is going fishing with his buddies. I got cheap tickets in the bleachers in centerfield. Hopefully not too far from Ricky :D

Ahhhh so frustrating. I think Beltran and Wright have been left on base about 20 times this series. We have no lineup outside of those two right now... and with Reyes apparently re-injuring himself tonight, we might be in for a long couple of weeks.

Ugh I am not looking forward to the Boston series. The Red Sox should just walk Beltran and Wright every single time, and they won't have to worry about giving up any runs. Mets did ok for a few days in SF, but then the last 4 nights have been awful. Once you get past Wright in our batting order you are home free...he was literally left on base 20 times during our mini roadtrip out west. So frustrating.

At least our pitching was pretty good :?:

Gary there's been a lot of talk here about Khalil Greene's problems. He has acute anxiety. They're not playing him very much at the moment.

YAY Sox..great sweep of Toronto. When Papi hit that I swear my building shook. I usually watch the games on mute so I can hear the crowd and OMG was it loud.

Mets tonight should be awesome. No tickets for me but my new trick is to walk over about 30 minutes after the games starts and see if anyone is selling tickets for face value. Would love to see Dice K....we'll see.

I'm so excited to see the new Citi Field, we are going to the game on Monday. I'm not a baseball fan but my husband is and to be honest I really enjoy going to the ballpark. It's the first time our son is going (outside of my belly hehe), I read the have a kids area. It's going to be fun!

We have 3 games against the Royals and my daughter and I are going tomorrow.

Yep, the Rockies put up some great points last night. Helton had a grand slam and at least one other RBI.
