Again.

This sends her up the wall - into serious fighting mode.

Probably half this family's disposable income goes into pie pans, stove pipes, wire mesh and other gadgetry to battle the squirrels.

And they always come back.

Doesn't feel so secure on top of the pecking order when you watch the tenacity of squirrels.

Us country folk make quick work out of annoying squirrels with .22's around here. Possible arming her with a .22 so she could vent her anger on the squirrels?

Bee20nine - I'd invite you to come over and target shoot, but I live too close to this community where two teenagers were arrested for animal cruelty for shooting a squirrel with an air gun. Ironically and not taken into consideration, it is legal to shoot squirrels to eat, but it was out of season. ... Now if it had been Plant City or Ruskin [Insert the 'country' community of choice here], the officers would have understood that.

Thanks for the encouragement. Do they make silencers for .22's, since our neighbors are rather close?

And thanks WebRover for that fascinating story about the two teenage boys in Largo Florida awaiting felony trial for shooting a squirrel with an air rifle. Kinda frightening to be reminded just how deeply teenage boys can get into trouble before thinking kicks in.

There's a couple of people who attend the church down the street who seem to have bats in their belfry.

My daughters just dumped out my organic raw honey in the bath tub and I use that (among other things) to wash my face! Argh! That was expensive. I guess I need to find something non edible to wash my face with but honey makes my face so soft! You all should try it if you never have!!

No squirrels around here--but man watch out for the ducks on the golf courses! I really like ducks. It's what they leave behind that isn't so fun.
