Rain, rain, go away, come again another day.

Wait. We need the rain. Just don't let the rain cause mudslides.

DH is a NASCAR fan. It probably came from his years of racing. Thank goodness we sold his last race car just before the economy tanked.

Darn cold here, too. But, we're kind of the banana belt of Colorado today, so I guess I shouldn't complain. 30 degrees is just too cold, though.

bargoo 12-15-2008 10:01 PM

Cold and rainy in Northern Ca today, right now it is 45 degrees, some of you in colder climes probably think of that as being a warm spell.

rained buckets here today.....of course our sprinklers went on anyway

WebRover 12-16-2008 02:44 AM

It's 64 degrees fahrenheit here at the moment (2:45 am), but supposed to be a high of 81. We're having an outdoor luncheon at work today. :)

Warm in Boston

Was 50 degrees near Boston when we walked to dinner last night. Didn't even have to wear gloves. That's fine living for mid-December around here.

bargoo 12-16-2008 10:05 AM

I have been in Boston in mid December it was cold and lots of snow, couldn't wait to get back to California...............however the weather report for my zipcode today is 52 degrees and cloudy. But I don't have to shovel anything. Just went out to get my paper, it's raining, wonder if the weatherman has noticed.

Slashnl 12-16-2008 10:56 AM

We had snow last night, about 3 inches. They're talking 1-2 FEET of snow for the mountains, though. Glad I'm here! I lived in the mountains before and it is tough to dig out with snow measured in feet!

81 in Florida......... wish I was there!

Slashnl 12-16-2008 10:57 AM

Sorry Bill, I took your 400th post.

BillBlueEyes 12-16-2008 11:25 AM

400 ...

. . . 100 to go.

To each his own realitly, LOL.

alinnell 12-16-2008 11:30 AM

Rain yesterday. Sun today. The mountains got quite a bit of snow and they look pretty. I was really hoping for more rain today.

bargoo 12-16-2008 02:24 PM

Went to a luncheon yesterday, there was a guest I had never met, she is very tiny and frail looking. She was dressed as Mrs. Santa Claus, she uses a walker to get around. She danced for us, walker and all.And a very good dancer. Yesterday was her 103rd birthday!!! I couldn't dance that good when I was 23 and had no walker.

EZMONEY 12-16-2008 09:54 PM

cool BARGOO

Yep Allison the mountains are pretty with the new snow.

Clear today....rain tomorrow....nice until Sunday...rain Mon-Tues...nice for Christmas
