My friend, who is really dead now, was reported in her neighborhood as dead 3 times before she died. The first time we went out and celebrated her resurrection.

A sitter I had once got flowers from one of the kid's mom for a death in the family. The florist made a mistake and sent a bouquet with clowns and balloons in it. We had a good laugh thinking about what the birthday person thought when they got the card that starting out "With deepest sympathy".

Which reminds me. Several years ago I was visiting my grandmother in another state, I was reading the obits when I noticed someone had died that had lived on her street....I was going to ask if she knew the person...went like this....
"Grandma have you read the obituary's Today?"..."No why? Am I in there?"
