i love my job! it doesn't pay much but it is SO MUCH FUN.
I am a personal chef who provides childcare, teaches kindergarten and third grade, and acts as a personal shopper, chauffer, and milk maid...AKA a homeschooling, breastfeeding, stay-at-home mom.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Adolescent and Child Developement, and am certified to teach kindergarten through eighth grade. I also hold a Master's degree in Deaf Education for Elementary ages from Gallaudet University. When our kids are bigger and we're not moving around so much any more, I'll "go back" to work. I do miss having my own classroom (I taught kindergarten, third grade, fourth/fifth combo, fifth grade, and sixth grade before our oldest was born).
I'm a high school student, but I'm trying to get a part-time job at a pet supply store near me. For the mean time I volunteer at the local animal shelter
I am a school nurse in a brand new k-5 elementary school in North Georgia. I worked in an older smaller school for 7 years till it closed down and I transferred into this new one. We have approx. 1100 kids and a "smart board" and other great technology in every classroom. I love it and the hours work out great to drive my two teens to all their activities!
I'm an archaeologist. Thus: I dig up dinosaurs, get cursed by mummies, go find ancient gold in like, Pennsylvania so that I can sell it on eBay, can't step inside a Mayan temple without having a 40 ton ball following me, find ancient alien civilizations, find the lost tribes of Israel only to lose them again, save the world from ancient curses, and wear a fedora, short shorts, a gun, and a whip to work (it gets cold in the winter).
I'm a technology coordinator for a public library system. Archy, From 3rd grade til college, I wanted to be an archaelogist. I never considered anything else during high school. In college, one of our professors made us watch Indiana Jones and told us if we expected it to be like that, we might want to consider a new major. So I changed majors to international business later that year.
During the week I am an Office Manager in the Logistics department for the Tri-State areas leading cable company. Saturday and Sunday nights I am the Hostess for an upscale party and banquet hall.
I am a taxi driver that gets to transport the special needs people to and from their schools LOL.
