Elementary teacher - generally from grades 2 to 4/5, but this coming year (our school year starts at the beginning of Feb) I am going to be teaching junior Music for part of the week and training the staff in Information Technology for the rest of the week. This will be my first year, in 23 years, that I will not have a class of my own. I am not sure how I will go with that, but I am really excited about my new role.
Shantroy - I spent most of this last year with a SMART board in my classroom and LOVED it!!!!! I am going to miss it this year, but it is something I am going to be training others to use.
I'm a junior high school and high school teacher and I also work with a university student abroad office. Even though I'm busy, I love both of my jobs!!!
I work for a physical therapist as the receptionist and as an aide. As the aide I help patients that are rehabbing from surgeries with their exercises.
It is a very rewarding job and I love it.
I just finished university, and I work for a small-but-growing non-profit. My official title is "administrative assistant" which really means that I do a little bit of everything my boss doesn't have time to do! I research, write content for our website, help plan events, etc.
I am a Therapeutic Recreation Programmer. I supervise and/or implement recreation programs for people with disabilities. That's to put it simply but it's much more complicated than that. I ultimately hope that I am improving the quality of life of these individuals. I think so based on the feedback we receive from parents, teachers, and group home staff. I LOVE my job. I work with a variety of populations. My favorite program is Special Olympics. I just started grad school because maybe one day I want to be a professor in this field that I love so much!
After tomorrow, I will be unemployed! Up until now I've been a nail tech/esthetician at a salon. But as of Monday, I'll be a full time student. I've been going part time for the past two years, and I figured I need to hurry up and finish, or I'll quit altogether. I'm working on a journalism degree.
I'm an RN in a hospital Mother-Baby unit. I have worked at this hospital for 32 years, the last 21 in Mother-Baby. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else. I love my job & have great co-workers who are like family to me.
We seem to be getting a lot of us hillbillies in here lately. I live in Huntington, work in Charleston, so I have this half of the state covered. Which part of the state are you in?

That sounds suspiciously like my position. It used to be titled Admin. Asst., but the roles changed over the years. The offical title is now PR Manager, Public Relations and Website Administration. I also help with events and do all the company's typesetting. And we're a partial non-profit membership organization.
