Nothing like sleeping in until 4:30 on a Saturday morning....

My nephew turned 21 at midnight...

really expected to get an I'm in jail call...

whew!!

bargoo 10-29-2011 09:52 AM

I stayed in bed all the way until 6AM today. I have a big problem, I am a morning person and am usually out of bet around 4-4:30 AM and in the shower by 5AM, that the problem I am in a 3rd floor apartment so 2nd floor (directly below me) comes to me an in an annoyed tone asks"do you always shower at 5AM)," well yes, as a matter of fact I do", it seems she can hear the water running and it wakes her up, SHE doesn't take her shower until about 10AM. Is it my fault she is too lazy to get out of bed.?I told her I would try and take it a little later, but now I am thinking ,Is it necessary that I adjust my schedule to match hers ? I don't think so. What do you killers think ? I do want to be a good neighbor and get along, but I am not really willing to adjust my life to hers....she is a neighbor , not a spouse !

EZMONEY 10-29-2011 06:54 PM

BARGOO I say do as you please. There is nothing rude about a normal shower noise.

That is something I deal with when working out of town, living in hotels and apartments....

noise late at night...after 8:00....;)

People taking showers and flushing toilets, air conditioners running, cars alarms going off, people hollering up and down the halls...

it sucks but that's life.

To her 5am is early to people like us it isn't.

Soap on!

Karen31 10-29-2011 07:04 PM

I totally agree!!! If things like this bother her then she needs to get a house where she can control more of the common everyday noises! Some people would gripe if you hung them with a new rope!

EZMONEY 10-30-2011 08:23 AM

Move along.....

nothing to see here

bargoo 10-31-2011 07:45 AM

I'm up.

EZMONEY 10-31-2011 07:49 AM

ME TOO.....

:badbat: BOO! :haphal:

BillBlueEyes 10-31-2011 07:58 AM

Pathetic - the sun's even up around here.

Ruthxxx 10-31-2011 08:01 AM

And this time next week it will be up even earlier.

(I am becoming the mistress of the inane comment and it's all the fault of this thread!)

ETA: You all remember Inane Comment, right? He's the boring guy at my last dinner party who tried to join in every conversation. I should never have let him stay overnight no matter how much wine he drank.

EZMONEY 10-31-2011 08:02 AM

Death on HALLOWEEN would be so sweet....

Why yes.

In Australia.

But not in the United States.

Not sure which rules Canada plays by.

Ruthxxx 10-31-2011 11:27 AM

Um ... sorry. It's fall back up here too. It's the clocks that go back, not the sun.

Operator265 11-01-2011 06:44 AM

Boo, Y'all!!! :badbat:

BillBlueEyes 11-01-2011 06:51 AM

Woot Woot
da Operator flashes on All Saints Day.

[Let the heavens deal with that as they wish.]

Ruthxxx 11-01-2011 07:04 AM

Zan and Operator! And Karen! I hope things aren't picking up in here. I have a hard time dealing with pressure.

EZMONEY 11-01-2011 07:39 AM

With everyone coming back to visit I may as well go back to work....

'cause my work here is done.

bargoo 11-01-2011 07:43 AM

operator, it's about time you get your butt back in here. We are getting close to killing time and I was counting on you to administer the coup de grace .

zanheltangia 11-01-2011 10:18 AM

Still here?

Well, I say hello! And have a nice Day of the Dead people! ;)

bargoo 11-01-2011 10:20 AM

zan, stick around , you have been gone too long.

zanheltangia 11-01-2011 10:35 AM

It has been a crazy year, but I plan to stick around now that I've restarted my efforts.

Work, EZ, that is a foul word. ;):p
Reminds me that I better dust off the old resume.
Better update that sucker.

:dizzy:

Sure hope everyone had a good Halloween! I can't believe my temps here today for the first of November!! Everyone have a great day!

bargoo 11-02-2011 08:46 AM

Zan, where are you ?
operator, where are you ?

Ruthxxx 11-02-2011 09:35 AM

Zan is dusting off her resume and Operator is deciding what to blow up. Karen is bragging about her temperatures and I am trying to overcome my inclination to be a crabby old lady. (The lady part is the easiest part.)

Ruth, thanks for clearing that up for me, I sometimes have a little lapse of memory and forget these important details.

zanheltangia 11-02-2011 10:23 AM

Goooooooood morning, ladies. Still 25, I see. ;)

Operator265 11-02-2011 10:31 AM

It is sooooo cold. The kids got a break on Halloween. The weather decided to wait until well after bedtime to turn to crap. It started raining about 3 am yesterday then turned to snow just as they were getting to school.

I'm going to go get in my cave and hibernate. See y'all come Spring which starts sometime near the end of May here.

No, no, operator we need someone to put TK 25 out of it's misery. Stick around.

zanheltangia 11-02-2011 01:17 PM

Winter, what is this winter that you speak of?
:beach:

(ducks and runs away from thrown items of randomness)

Even DEATH won't kill this...nope...not even death....

bargoo 11-03-2011 08:42 AM

I see something, can't quite make it out, oh! it's......... could it be, I think it might be TK26.

Ruthxxx 11-04-2011 07:58 AM

Bargoo! That IS scary!

"You know it's winter when you pee on your rope and it freezes!" ... a public service announcement from Jazz the Tsvetnaya Bolonka.

bargoo 11-04-2011 08:54 AM

For too long TK has survived with Bill,Gary, Ruth and myself, now as much as I like Bill, Gary and Ruth I miss the fiestiness of operator , I even miss trying to figure out zan's big and obscure words.

Operator265 11-04-2011 10:01 AM

Welp, off to work. Got Kiddo her first job. It's only for three days, but it pays $15/hr. She's kind of excited even if it means standing out in the cold. At least with a 3rd person it will give us a chance to give each other breaks and get in from the truck to warm up a bit. I went 10 hours yesterday standing in the cold. My back was jacked up!!

EZMONEY 11-05-2011 08:23 AM

hope my wife sells lots of purses...

I will be going back and forth....

GRANDdaughter gets her picture with :clause:

bargoo 11-05-2011 08:55 AM

Gary, what about the new baby ? Pink booties or blue booties ?

Ruthxxx 11-05-2011 09:37 AM

Glorious sunrise this morning! Sure is wintery out there though. No leaves on the trees and white frost all over everything. I guess "it" really IS coming. :(
