I can only please one person each day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow is not looking good either.

WebRover 12-30-2010 08:25 PM

Sheesh - talk of rules again.

BillBlueEyes 12-31-2010 05:42 AM

. . .
Rule 8 - We shall observe the proper order of the Maids a-milking, Lords a-leaping, and Swans a-swimming, lest they mingle and do things.
. . .

[Some things are more doable than others. YMMV.]

bargoo 12-31-2010 09:00 AM

I alway thought swans might be a little kinky , now you tell me they are hanging out with geese !!!!!

EZMONEY 12-31-2010 09:05 AM

I'm shocked at what you people think is news worthy of threadkiller.....

can we just get back to the rules and play it as intended?

We are humbled by the support of rules by the Hoi polloi.

[Let others feel free to line up and march in synchrony.]

WebRover 12-31-2010 10:34 AM

Seven Swans a-swimming as they plan their new years resolutions.

WebRover 12-31-2010 10:35 AM

Resolution #1 NO RULES

bargoo 12-31-2010 11:24 AM

I never trusted 10 Lords a Leaping either. I wouldn't turn my back on them.

WebRover 12-31-2010 12:40 PM

It's the tights!

cathydoe 12-31-2010 03:40 PM

Are the 12 days of Christmas before or after Christmas? Inquiring minds want to know.

cathydoe 12-31-2010 03:45 PM

Rules

EZMONEY 12-31-2010 04:20 PM

I have been given the :judge: authority by an unnamed :sssh: source to change the rules :book2:...

Rule #1 ~ Have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR! :newyear:

WebRover 12-31-2010 04:55 PM

Christmas is the first day of Christmas.
Epiphany (the day the three Wise Men visited Christ) is the 12th day.

So the materialistic secular Christmas ends on Christmas day (or eve) when all the paper is shredded off all the gifts and people start taking their decorations down.

That's when the Christian Christmas starts.

Pay no attention to this person as he is self appointed.
PS it is OK to have a New Year !

WebRover 12-31-2010 07:08 PM

My fellow Threadkillers - are you celebrating the new year quietly at home, party at home or are you celebrating out somewhere?

We're quietly celebrating at home.

Karen31 12-31-2010 07:37 PM

We're celebrating New Year's/anniversary quietly at home and enjoying our soup and medicated vaporizer!! So exciting!! After we get over this "Human Parvo" then we will celebrate our 40th anniversary! Nasty bug to last almost a month long now!!

Hope everyone has a SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

bargoo 12-31-2010 07:43 PM

Staying home and eating cheese enchiladas

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

BillBlueEyes 12-31-2010 08:21 PM

Headed out to a party right now. Have a joyful New Year's Eve everyone.

Ruthxxx 01-01-2011 07:43 AM

'Tis the eighth day of Christmas and the eight maids a-milking are going to be here as soon as the sun comes up. It'll be darned crowded with the cows, milking stools, pails and the manure shovel. I wonder if they'll want lunch? Remind me not to invite them for next year. I can BUY milk without all this fuss!
:newyear:

EZMONEY 01-01-2011 09:07 AM

:newyear: HAPPY NEW YEARS DAY EVERYBODY

Angie and I went all wild :dancer: and  last night for New Years

Started with dropping off a dresser and bookcase Angie refinished at my son/dil's house for soon to be GRANDdaughter.....

then off to see the new TRUE GRIT..... see it!

then off to our favorite :hungry: Italian joint that we do most New Years Eves...treated nephew and step-d/bf to dinner, my kids had other plans...

then watched AVATAR for the first time....has been on our shelf for months :D.....

in bed by 11:00 :)

woke up at 11:55....thought about going down to turn TV on...for about 3 seconds :D...

back to sleep by 11:57

But the paper WAS here at 4:45 when I got up :woohoo:

Have a great day everyone...see you in a few hours

WebRover 01-01-2011 09:30 AM

Happy New Year!

Stayed up long enough to see the year turn. I remember when 2000 was some time WAY in the future. Then it was here and now it's long past.

2011 here we are!

EZMONEY 01-02-2011 08:41 AM

Well, so much for New Years resolutions.....

srmb60 01-02-2011 08:51 AM

Hey! Hi!

BillBlueEyes 01-02-2011 09:19 AM

My single resolution for the New Year is;
Threadkiller 22 shall die.
And I fully intend to meet my resolution, even if I have to post one a day until the Fall to get there.

Hey! Hi! back srmb60 - hope your New Year is smoking.

If it was clean in here I wouldn't feel comfortable ;)

Now, now, Gary, it's time to go back to your room and have a little nap. Don't worry about the people in white coats they are here to help you.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

La, la, la!!!

EZMONEY 01-03-2011 08:23 AM

Madness is in the mind of the beholder.....

cathydoe 01-03-2011 12:06 PM

For some reason the term insanity caused a flip in my brain to think of the woman with the butch hair do that had a weight loss program. She was loud and boisterous. Wasn't it called Stop the Insanity or something like that? I wonder whatever happened to her? .....just thinking....

Ruthxxx 01-03-2011 12:33 PM

Susan Powter? Now I need to Google!
Here she is!
