OK ! Where is everybody, West Coast is up both Southern and Northern California have reported in. May I remind you East Coasters it is only 5:30 AM here ?
Oh, I know what a pain in the neck is. Had spasms in mine yesterday. Then, I went to work with my left bicep whining. Got hit in the head once and pinned against the rollers twice. The boss mentioned my CDL might get me a better job. Gawd, I hope so.
I'm going to miss the last space shuttle Atlantis launch,
Stupid "All hands meeting", watching the space shuttle is so much more important for us Space Coasters!!!
Bah!
This is hard to believe. I, too, wanted to watch the final launch of Atlantis, but was going to be on a flight to Miami. Then the pilot comes on with, "That's Cape Kennedy off to your left" and sure enough, using my binoculars, I could see ol' Atlantis on pad. "It launches in three minutes" he continued. Then he banked left so we'd have a clearer view and I got to see the launch from 30,000 feet. Truly a mind boggler. I can attest that it does rise fast, and that it does continue past 30,000 feet.
Guess we don't have a baby on board yet. I wish I coulda been on that flight Bill. Of course, it figures you didn't have a camera. Pics or it didn't happen. lol

Duh - didn't even think of pictures. Heart might have been racing a little too fast to hold the camera steady, LOL.

I remember when I had six days to go, I woke up every day hoping this will be the day .
I remember I had two days to go and we were taking the oldest to kindergarten. That's when it dawned on me...we had just given up our freedom for another 5 years.
