I need to go shopping for a couple of cucumber plants. Got the tomatoes, peppers and broccoli in already. Now, I just gotta find a good way to keep the neighborhood cats out of it. Thinking of trying a pepper spray formula I found online to put on the edge of the boxes. That way, they should be able to smell it before trying to get in and getting it on their paws. I pulled two turds out this morning. Little crap factories. Kinda reminded me of Gary though.

Not nice, Operator, but I know what you mean. I have the same problem and have heard that orange and lemon peel deters them. I imagine an air rifle would be too.
Hey! Where is that Mrs Augie baby? I hope all is well.
Thanks, Ruth. I heard about the citrus and might try it to. I was thinking of maybe trying a .22 rifle, but, that miiiight be taking it a little to far.
I've got a neighbor cat that scratches up my landlady's lawn, it's really odd.
They are hard to get rid of, I dunno if that pepper mixture would work. My dad spritzed his veggies and the rabbits still ate them. (probably made 'em taste better! ) so I don't know about it helping to stop cats digging.
I'm thinking a wire fence tall enough that they can't just walk/hop over is probably your best bet, unfortunately.
It's soooo sunny! What the heck am I doing chained to my work desk? *craves freedom*
