And when I feed him leftovers he is darn glad to have them He never says I don't like that .

JuliaDH 09-29-2009 08:54 PM

And he doesn't lie to me or yell at me about homework to do. When he does something wrong I know it and gives me ~the please forgive me look...~ and all is good again.

EZMONEY 09-29-2009 08:54 PM

I never complain about "must go's"...at least I know I'm not cooking.

bargoo 09-29-2009 08:58 PM

And he has zero interest in spending the entire weekend watching ball games, one after the other.

Operator265 09-29-2009 09:03 PM

Mine gets irritated when I try to vacuum the living room. He feels his toys must be OUTSIDE his cage scattered about. I pick them up and toss in and, while I'm getting the vacuum, he's busy bring them out and dropping them all over the place.

My cat used to hate made beds. Anytime I would try to make the bed, she would set her little self right in the middle of it.

I LOVE having pets who hate housework as much as I do. :D

EZMONEY 09-29-2009 09:39 PM

My dogs have a toy box....they take them out...I put them in...

just like the kids...

one of my dogs watches the ballgames with me....if Angie isn't watching The Dog Whisperer....

Operator265 09-29-2009 11:27 PM

Man!!! This thread has really gone to the DOGS!!!

Operator265 09-29-2009 11:41 PM

Oh yeah. My dog also has a serious foot fetish. :carrot: Loves socks, Big Time. :dizzy: Might even go after EZ's. :faint: Also likes to sneak up behind you when you walk away and bite at your feet. He's a total freak. ;)

AR4life 09-30-2009 12:03 AM

One of my dogs watches tv, another bites at my ankles :dizzy: in the morning, the
3rd loves my lap and keeps me warm.

Is that enough dogs for you???? Dog thread indeed!! :carrot:

BillBlueEyes 09-30-2009 05:29 AM

130 . . .

370 to go.

Please!!! It is way too light-hearted around here of late. Let us remember that there are rules; do not be distracted by the anarchists who state otherwise attempting to seduce us from the path.

This is a serious thread about killing.

Frivolity, like low cut dresses, distracts Gentlemen from their duty and is not to be tolerated.

So what dress size do you wear, Bill?

JuliaDH 09-30-2009 09:37 AM

an·ar·chist
Pronunciation: \ˈa-nər-kist, -ˌnär-\
Function: noun
Date: 1678
1 : a person who rebels against any authority, established order, or ruling power
2 : a person who believes in, advocates, or promotes anarchism or anarchy; especially : one who uses violent means to overthrow the established order

I think dogs chewing shoes would fit this defination. Bill & a revealing dress would fit this defination, from one dutch girl to another living in Amsterdam fits this defination! I would prefer an addiction to anarchy over food. Its more FUN!

bargoo 09-30-2009 10:06 AM

My dog loves to pull my socks off , once he gets it off my foot he shakes the heck out of it. Evidently he thinks socks are some kind of danger to me.

Operator265 09-30-2009 02:29 PM

Right now I'm not sure if mine is a dog or a cat as he rubs himself around my ankles.

WaterRat 09-30-2009 06:40 PM

Hmm, no dog at the moment. Our house is ruled by 2 siamese cats. They love to help when I change the bedding, and burrow into the covers at other times as well. :)

Welp, CrackHead just found a plastic bottle and is kicking its butt. :)

Youngest nicknamed him that and I think she got it right.

My two are fast asleep on the unmade bed upstairs. The Irish mohair extra blanket is their favourite part. They are not allowed to sleep with me overnight but head up there as soon as possible in the morning.

As soon as possible so they can get the warm spot you left behind!

Operator265 10-01-2009 11:30 AM

New one here-I left my paper out on the back porch and it got rained on. Now, PoBear decides he likes tearing up the wet paper. He never done this one before. Must be something about it being wet. Very strange!! I hope he doesn't start in on the dry ones.

I used to let Muffy sleep in my bed with me. I can't do it with this new guy. He'd be up in the middle of the night eating my underwear.

Slashnl 10-01-2009 11:41 AM

Ok, this thread is dead. Right now. No, I mean it. NOW.

*** haven't been here for awhile. Thought I'd drop in and say hi. I think the last time I was on threadkiller was for thread 8. *********

JuliaDH 10-01-2009 11:45 AM

Hey Diane!

Great to see you!

Operator265 10-01-2009 12:01 PM

Hey Miss "I'm too good for you people". Glad to see you finally quit playing Dead and decided to come visit us freaks.

bargoo 10-01-2009 01:53 PM

Oh, Diane we have a long way to go before this thread is dead.

EZMONEY 10-01-2009 01:57 PM

On the mornings I work I take the dogs out of their crates wearing my work clothes....pants/shorts and boots. I take them up to the bedroom and they jump in with Angie and stay there until I am long gone....I usually am just about ready to go when I let them in on Angie.

If I wake them up wearing my t-shirt and boxers, and take them to the bedroom...they follow me back down a few minutes later...and stay by me....then Reba starts bringing me shoes...doesn't matter if they match!...and socks out off the floor of my closet...she knows she is going for a walk!

Ha, ha!

No, not too good, just computer disability for about 1 1/2 months now. My old home computer was just about on life support, so we got a new computer. Well, within a couple of weeks, the new computer would just choose to shut down. I called our computer lady and she said that it sounded like the hard drive was crashing. Great. So, took it back and they tried to fix it. But then it had to sent off... but they forgot to send it off... oops.... so then they REALLY sent it off. So, now we wait.

So, using the work computer for personal stuff. But I'm really busy at work!! The nerve of these people. They expect me to work while I'm at work. Whatever. ;)

Glad to see you all are still not going to "deep" in your discussion topics. ha!

bargoo 10-01-2009 04:57 PM

Stick around , Diane, sometimes "it" gets pretty deep , most of the time, actually.

Operator265 10-01-2009 06:03 PM

Excuses are like bellybuttons.....Everybody's got one.

Anywho...

Old Pom-Wait at top of stairs to make sure I took my shoes off and would be staying home before he would go out to potty.

New Pom-Waits at top of stairs anxiously waving at me to hurry the heck up and get them shoes off so I can come pet him.

bargoo 10-02-2009 11:15 AM

My dog doesn't care what day it is along as he gets pampered and told what a good boy he is.

Karen31 10-02-2009 11:16 AM

Sounds kind of like my Hubby!!!

bargoo 10-02-2009 11:38 AM

Karen31 10-02-2009 11:50 AM

Not!! But I do give him a steak once in awhile.......But I sure don't have to worry about going broke buying steak for his treats!!!

My husband would love to get a liver treat! He loves liver and onions, but I can't even be in the house if it's being cooked:p. His mom cooks it for him sometimes when we visit and the rest of us go to McD's!

Now, our dog likes bacon treats and mil will actually put all the bacon grease on the dog's food if she's doggie-sitting for us--then the dog goes on a diet when we get home!

mrsaugie 10-02-2009 05:29 PM

i hope everyone had a good day.

bargoo 10-02-2009 06:33 PM
