lol, i have to move the coffee table in front of the front door just so i can work out. i really have no room. and then most the times when i'm done i let the table sit in front of the door because i'm beat :p . well, until i have to get mail or something.

I didn't get mine either. I called them and they told me it was shipped on the 18th, but I didn't get a tracking number. Gotta do that. I hope it comes tomorrow. I joined a gym last week, and today was my 6th day. So far I'm down 2.5 pounds. I figure I have so much energy during the day that doing the TJ with my workout should be even better!!

Slow Shipping
I ordered my Turbo Jam on Friday January 13th. They didn't send me a shipping confirmation until Wednesday January 18th. The e-mail said it shipped on Sunday January 15th but it wasn't shipped on that date. Ups didn't even get the electronic shipping info until Thursday and then it finaly shipped out friday and I received it Tuesday January 24th. They also didn't include a tracking number in the e-mail so I had to instant message beachbodys help to get it (which only took a couple minutes to do so that's what i would do instead of e-mail).
So was shipping this slow with everybody else who ordered? Or is it just because everyone is ordering exercise dvds this time of year? Because I ordered other things over that weekend and they all came earlier than turbo jam and all of them shipped usps. |
I got my TJ last night! I paid $70 for 2 dvds (that came in one dvd box by the way) and a couple flimsy little books?! Well, I was pretty peeved about that, but I did the learn and burn and I tell ya what, within 10 minutes my legs felt like rocks! It kicked my butt! Gonna do the 20 minute today... gonna sell the yoga booty ballet on ebay... seen the infomercials... don't care for it. The music really wasn't what they said BUT Chalene's attitude is worth the price... she is really sweet and funny... think I might look forward to doin this... and GET THIS... when I workout I hardly ever sweat at all.. and last night... I BROKE A SWEAT! WOO HOO!! I'm excited... WE can do this, can't we?! YEAH. HECK YEAH.

Help Me!
Ok, what am I doing wrong? I have been doing turbo jam for about two weeks and six days ( I take weekend's off ) and on average eat about 1200 calories a day (onces again I take weekends off). I have lost some weight (just bought a new and accurate scale, YIKES! :o ) and my body is getting less flabby, and I feel more solid, but this kangaroo pouch is not leaving!!! My upper torso is smaller but my lower part with this stupid pouch is not going anywhere, any advice?:?:

What do you mean you take the weekends off? Do you not eat at all or do you eat everything in site. I was reading the other day that the total amount of calories that you eat for the month is just as important as daily intakes.
But it also seems like you are getting good results. It takes time girl! Usually the first place you gain weight is the last place you lose it so if you have always had a "pouch" it will be the last thing to go. 2 weeks isn't very long. I bet that in 10 weeks you will be able to see the difference if you keep it up! |
It kicks my butt...
I just got my TJ set yesterday. I tried the learn and burn this morning, and it really kicked my butt. I have been doing the Walk Away the Pounds 3 mile tapes for about 3 weeks, and 15 mins of TJ had me panting like a dog! I'm going to stick with it and I hope it works for me. Good luck to all.

I finally got a reply to my email I sent to customer service about my TJ...they sent me a confirmation saying that my order shippied on the 19th, but I still haven't seen any sign of it yet. I don't have a tracking # so I have no idea what the status is..hopefully I get it by at least Monday so that I can start adding it into my routine next week!! Hooray!! :dancer:

I remember once that Susan Powter said that the place on your body where you need to lose weight the most is the place that you will lose last. Maybe you are not doing anything wrong. Patience (I know I know who wants to hear that) maybe the key. I knew a lady once who was very large in the hip area only. She started a diet and exercise program and for many months she just lost weight in the waist and legs. Finally she began to lose in the hips. I was so happy for her because for a long while she almost looked worse because by losing weight elsewhere her hips appeared even bigger. But now she is slim everwhere. Hang in there, you are doing great!
