Same thing happened with me. I saw it and wanted it. I still want it, but I can't see myself being able to afford that anytime soon. Which...makes me sad. But it's another guarentee video. Those keep me so motivated. *sigh* Maybe someday... :(

Hey Ladies, I just recieved my turob jam video and Teahoney, you were right! I love the video. I consider myself to be at a intermediate level, but the learn and burn segment had me sweating hard!

jas80 01-05-2006 10:30 PM

upon reading this entire thread (and Teahoney's mention of tj in the bootcamp thread), i'm sold, i ordered it tonight.

teahoney 01-05-2006 11:30 PM

Oh wow. I guess I'm going to have to call Chalene and collect my commission. lol

Artacia - The first time or two of doing it I was mostly focused on the foot work and getting it right. But now, I'm really having fun with it. I know most of the songs so I sing along and before you know it, the workout is over and you are dripping with sweat.

jas - Definitely let me know how you like it when you get it.

I really want Turbo Jam. I get so pumped when I see the informercial for it. I've hesistated, just because everyone is always so sketical of my love for fitness tapes! I don't have that many, two I've ordered from online (Carmen Electra and Winsor Pilates) but I just really want Turbo Jam. I'm definitely going to buy it for myself sometime late this month... As far as results has anyone seen any? Purely from Turbo Jam? And what's the diet and everything like? I'm so looking forward to purchasing this for myself!

HI, I just bought the tapes and have done 3 workouts so far. I am just in the beginning mode but it is still a pretty good workout. I am sore today. I always used an elliptical machine at the y till now. I will let you know.

when i ordered, i upgraded to the deluxe package for an additional 3 payments of $9.95. it bumped the 30 day money back guarantee to a 60 day and included i think 3 extra workouts. can't wait to get it since i need something for my non-tae bo days.

RachelleS 01-08-2006 07:02 PM

I just ordered the two new ones that are out - the rest are suppose to be coming in February. I used the 20% off so that helped a lot!!!!! I love Turbo Jam.

Rachelle

NOTE - they are no longer excepting the 20% CDROM code that I had as of January 31, 2006.

jas80 01-08-2006 09:11 PM

Rachelle- 4 months and you're still into it? this excites me more than you could know!!! i've been looking forever for something i can stick to as i'm normally bored in a month. this may just be it!

RachelleS 01-09-2006 11:29 PM

Yeah, I've been Turbo Jam since August/September (I have to look at my workout log again - I think it's September). I've stuck with Tae Bo for almost 8 years also but I do get bored easily - I like variety. With TJ, I've been using mostly the same 3 and it does not get boring. I think it's the music - which is something I usually block out. The time goes by so fast, it doesn't seem like it's exercising. And you burn A LOT of calories in that short time also which is a huge plus. I hope it works for you jas80!!!

I made my mom sit down and watch the Turbo Jam informercial with me and she was still against it. She is really not into videos, and thinks I need to just go for a walk... Its annoying, is there anyway to buy DVDs out of the system? Like one or two on my own? Or similar tapes?
