I thought i was dying at the beginning. On day 2 everything hurt so bad i didnt want to move but i kept going. It does get easier but still hurts but im down 7 lbs so thats my motivation. Finished level 2 day 6 today. I have slim in 6 to start as soon as this is done. Im really excited to start that. My knees are hurting really bad on level 2 so im hoping level 3 will be easier

It really is no excuse, however I was gone for a few days (my boyfriend is a girls basketball coach and we won state for the second year in a row!!!! Yay!!!!) so I just finished L1D7.

Really wishing I wouldn't have missed a few days because I can feel my body trying to readjust back to working out but I love it!!

I go and weigh in again tomorrow morning! Lets hope I'm down!

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to pop in and tell you how encouraging this thread is and to see you all getting through the shred! It's really getting me motivated.
I was going to have done this for March, but guess I got overwhelmed with changing my other habits I never really took off with it. So April it is.

I am going to do this 5 days a week starting Sunday, so it will end up being a 6-week program.
I currently do Zumba once a week and take a dance class once a week. I am adding a second Zumba class to my routine starting tonight. So between 3 hour workouts a week and 5 20 min workouts a week here's hoping to get some great results. I cannot believe how different I feel already since starting this all 5 weeks and 11 pounds ago!

I have done this video in the past, but never made it past the 1st ten days/1st level. Ready to conquer it. Maybe since I have a jumpstart on working out it won't completely kill me right off, but we will see. LOL

Look forward to seeing you all on the April thread in a few days!!
Keep up the great work!

Hey blondy! Thanks!

Hard, as in you will sweat your butt off, YES!
Hard, as in the steps, and actually doing it, NO!

It's been the least intimidating class I have ever taken, as far as there being women of all shapes, sizes, ages (literally from young child to grandmothers), there. You can do things at your own pace and really modify it to what you can handle as far as level of intensity and how full out you do it. The moves are simple enough that you pick them up quickly, but also involved enough that it keeps you interested... and it really is a ton of fun!!
I have a lot of dance experience in my background, but I go with a friend who has none and frequently talks about how uncoordinated and how little rhythm she has, and we both do just fine with it. So it's really for anyone. I took a relative one night for the first time and she picked right up on most of it. I have never tried the videos or wii game, but may be a good place to start if you want to try without going to a class. I seem to do better in class with a room full of people, like I don't want to be the slacker so I push myself, even though I know no one could care less about what I am doing LOL

My stamina in the 6 weeks I have been going regularly, even at only once a week, has very noticeably improved and you burn a ton of calories!
