Ok... so... I'm just wondering what y'all's thoughts on this series is...
I have used the 10 Minute Solutions: Pilates before with my mom... and I prefer it to every other video I've tried... mainly because it's not an entire 30 minute routine that is the exact same every time you do it... but 5 different 10 minute routines that you can mix and match. Yeah... it does get repetitive... but definately not as fast.
I'm thinking of trying to get most of the DVDs in the series... since I'm the kind of person that gets bored with stuff fast... and I like to mix stuff up... but... I'm wanting to know what y'all think of them. The dance mixes are the ones I'm looking at getting most of all...
So... thoughts?
ETA: For anyone who suggests just joining a gym and working out there... it's not really an option for me. For several reasons:
1. I'm underage. I'm under 18... and won't be 18 until December... and you have to be 18 to join. And it's the ONLY gym in town.
2. I have more motivation to do stuff at home than I do to get in the car and drive 15 minutes to the gym (the closest, the rest are 30-40 minutes away).
3. I can't stand listening to people tell me how to work out. Yeah... if they tell me "no... you need to hold it this way, otherwise you'll hurt yourself"... sure... that's fine. But every other gym I've been at has had someone following me (even when I asked them not to... but I'm not supposed to use the equipment "unsupervised") telling me to use "this one" for five minutes and then "that one" for this number of minutes... etc. And I have to be the one to control what I'm doing... otherwise my first instinct is to not do it... and when it comes to exercise... which I need... I'd rather not have to work even harder to try and overcome my instincts.
I am planning on using the gym in college (next year) daily though... it has a rock climbing wall... which I hope to use all the time... I love rock climbing...
