so happy to finally be able to join this group, despite the fact things in my life aren't so great right now. My mother is in hospital with dementia, etc. Still, i need to do this to be healthy so i'm not getting side tracked.

i weighed in today at 149...I haven't been below the 150s in about a year. I have been feeling like i've been living in someone else's body. I tried everything to lose weight and i work out alot to no avail. Finally someone suggested a paleo type diet called Whole30 and it has helped me curb my appetite and my cravings. I wont say this is a miracle or the answer for everyone but it helped me. I have been on it for 18 days and last night was the first time I cheated because I had such a hard time at the hospital all day with my Mom. I would love to get to 140 , anything below that, even if its 139 would be a dream.

Hi there! Mind if I join?

I haven't been on 3FC for a while as I first lost my internet connection for a couple of weeks and after that I've been just busy. I've been stuck in the 140s, my weight going up and down between 143 and 146 for about 3 weeks now and it's driving me bonkers! Need to really up my game now and kiss the 140s good bye.

143.2 today. It's the right direction at least! Somehow I feel I'm about to break this plateau. Hoping to be under 143 tomorrow, or at least very soon.

142.8 today :carrot: FINALLY under 143!!!

And looks like I've really lost something during the past few weeks, even if the scale has been a bit sceptical about that. My "new" vintage skirt from a month back - that used to be real tight - is getting a bit loose. At this point, every pound seems to show.

Lioness, hanging is way better than gaining! I say good for you!

I hit 141.4 today, my lowest weight so far. Not expecting to not to see a higher number tomorrow though, it was way too sudden to be something that would stick (although I bet most of the sudden drop was about losing TOM bloating). I really, really want out of the 140s ok!!!

Also, my bum is getting kinda unpleasant to sit on. :D Just when my knees were getting used to eachother while sleeping (loosing padding around there made the insides of my knees pretty sore after sleeping on my side, damn I've been so fluffy lol!)

140.6 today. Was there a couple of days ago, but I felt seriously deprived. Like days of slight little hunger piling up. Decided to have a calories-up-day, bounced up a bit, now back here.

146.2 yesterday and 146.0 today! Thank goodness for some downward movement. I just want to be in the lower half of the 140s at this point haha.

This decade seems to be a tough one to break free of pigeon but I know you can do it! You're still so close!

Hi featherweights! It's been awhile but I'm back and would like to join you again. I've been hovering around 148 for a couple weeks despite my best low carbing and need to make a big push to get into the 130s before the holidays. Today was 147.8.

And thank you for your kind encouragement. I hit 139.6 this morning, just like that. Didn't surprise me much though, as I have felt it with my clothes that I've lost some, it just takes a bit longer for it so show on the scale. :) I'm gonna reward myself a bit by visiting a charity shop. :D

Hi there! I'm not following anything specific. I'm approximating my calories (aiming at somewhere around 1000-1100 at the moment - less than that is just too uncomfortable) and pole-walking regularly, 50 minutes at time. I wish I exercised 5 times a week, but sometimes I do only 3 or 2 times, and that shows... it seems like that 50 minutes is really what makes the difference. Like it makes my body understand that it can't just shut down because of low calories, but the engine has to keep going!

Thanks! If 50 minutes of walking is what makes the difference for you maybe I should step up my activity and see what that does for me. I'll experiment. Down to 146.2 this morning, I'm very happy with that, considering I've been in court the last two days for jury duty and eating like crap. I've been intermittent fasting to make up for it.

Yay for intermitted fasting! I wish I could take the discomfort. :o I don't know about regular walking, but I've found pole walking /nordic walking astonishingly effective. It's considered a bit of a granny sport here, but it's a good workout, and I have some mean biceps to prove that. :D

Happy Friday, finally!! I've been hanging around 146 for four days. I'm feeling like crap, exhausted and maybe a bit bloated for no reason. Hopefully I let go of some water and see 145 this weekend! I have no big plans so it should be easy to stay on plan. Im going to try to cut back on my carbs again and see what that does.

I have been hanging around 145 for awhile but guess what peeked up at me this morning? 153.8!! It might just be a low dip and I'm not holding my breath that I'll see it again tomorrow but it was such a relief to see that reflected back at me! I can't say I'd be disappointed if I completely skipped 144 bahaha. Trying to keep focused and take everything one day at a time. Happy Sunday everyone!

I have been hanging out in the low 141/high 140 area for a couple days and I'm really thrilled :woohoo: Apparently patience pays off! Haha no but for real, I seem to stall at a weight for what feels like forever and then get a mini whoosh if I'm lucky or just start losing again. I wonder why that happens? Anywho! I hope anyone still out there is having a great week!!
