I also weigh at night out of curiosity, and subtract 1 pound for my clothes and 1 pound for my 'food baby', as this is a good indicator of the next day's morning weigh in :)

You are a braver woman than I! I freaked out today because I had to weigh myself AFTER eating.

I had bought two new fire extinguishers, and was filling out the inspection tags, which ask for the weight of the extinguisher. I tried sitting the extinguisher directly on the scale, but that didn't work. I DID NOT WANT TO KNOW what I weighed at that time, but there was no way around it.

It was 119, when my weigh-in earlier was about four pounds less. Bottom line: I just had to get over myself, and I did, even though it was slightly traumatizing! :carrot:

Oh my gosh, if that 4 pounds is mostly 'food' I am SO envying you. You get to eat more AND weigh less! No fair! Btw, glad you made it through, hehe.

I weigh in every morning. I have a scale where we are during the week, and we have another house we go to on the weekends which always is a lb lighter, so I have been putting "lighter scale" next to my weight when I use that one! The gym has a doctor's scale. That one I have used but it's at night and with all of my clothes, so it's a bit traumatic :)

Jen - Doctor scales are traumatic for me too. Thank goodness, they usually require clothes....that's always my excuse for the higher number :)

Right there with ya! I weighed at the gym the other day, with clothes and shoes, and was biting my nails (not really, just nervous) waiting for what that would be. But it actually ended up being pretty much what it was at home, surprisingly. I was sure the big clunky running shoes I wear would weigh a ton!

Yeah, I had had a huge breakfast, and this morning weighed 114.6, so it must have been that, plus the clothes.

I almost weighed this afternoon, after mopping the house. I feel like this burns a lot of calories, because I do it three times: once with a tiny bit of soap, once with an unwrung rinse, and once with a wrung-out mop. But I'd eaten breakfast, so I couldn't bring myself to do it. :D

I think the last time my scale said 113 was high school. Good for you!

Kifli, 126 is great :)

Feb thread soon! I'm hoping to maintain at 120 lbs, maybe 119 lbs once in a while, but to be closer to 120 lb numbers (117-121) vs 130 lbs (127-131).

Thank you! I can assure you I am not that now, having had, today, meatloaf three ways - including fried! - and a pecan-crusted southern-style pork chop (it's lo-carb, doncha know!) and mucho choco. But I will claw my way back in the coming week, God willing. :D

JenFZ09 02-02-2015 09:49 AM

On to Feb! :)
