Thanks, Jen. I will buy Insanity after I complete P90X. However, my appetite increases substantially after I do the workouts. I can't seem to cut calories enough to lose. I may even gain! :( I may have to hold out on it until I lose the weight first.

What calorie amount are you at now? I have found that 40% protein/40% carb/20% fat also helps or even lower carb, but I'm normally at 50% carb. The 10% carb is Atkins. I have no clue how people do that. |
Jen, My goal is 1200 max. If I do a few 1050's a week, I can lose a couple of pounds that week.
I have only done p90x for 2 days now and probably ate bw 1600-1800 during that time. Needless to say I'm up to 127.5 now. I have this insatiable appetite that I'm not able to control when I work out hard. I love getting fit. I'm just thinking maybe I should wait 2 months until all of the weight is off and then start up P90X? You should have heard the mental battle last night going on in my head! I was trying so hard not to eat, but I just couldn't do it! I can try again today, but I know it will be the same. When I cut calories with light or no exercise, it's doable. Btw...I basically eat whatever I want when I cut cals, but b/c I was so hungry yesterday, I ate a lot of protein everything....yet still was ravenously hungry. |
