Good morning Feathers! It's 9:15 AM on my birthday and I already feel celebrated-out. I went out Friday night, spent all of Saturday recovering, had about 35 people over to my house for my birthday, got wasted and butchered a bunch of Christmas songs on the violin/melodica with my roommate on banjo/ukelele, spent all day yesterday recovering and shoving food into my face (homemade garlic/olive oil/balsamic eggplant, truffle mac and cheese, egg-in-the-basket, bites of turducken sandwich and foie gras burger, tons of dumplings at Chinese dumpling house...), and had Christmas time with my boyfriend.
He got me SO MUCH STUFF - a new digital camera, ski/snowboard jacket, TOTORO SLIPPERS!!!!, American flag knee socks, a shirt I've been lusting after, and probably more stuff - and it all came in the cutest tote bag ever with a kitten on it:
Plans for today: gym, lunch with friends, walk with my mom, presents, dinner (lasagne and Pepperidge Farm chocolate cake), and trying to read the entire Hobbit so I can finally see the movie with my dad.
HAVE A GREAT TRIP
Bayzee! I hope everything is fantastic and delicious and you get a ton of relaxation time in!
OhThePlaces Congratulations on size 4, which in my opinion is a very loaded clothing size (people claim all kinds of things about it). Enjoy cookie decorating, and I also just want to say your family are gorgeous and that picture with Santa is fantastic, even if your little lady has some tears on her face...
TurboMammoth Babies are so squishy and I worry about breaking them too! Better stiff than too relaxed and "oops she fell out of my arms."
elleohelle HUGS to you. I hope my package arrives soon! It will cheer you up.
JossFit Mmm all that sounds great. I kind of don't feel like ODing on food over birthday/Christmas either...got that out of my system yesterday.
olehcat Yeah, for sure I won't be making that mistake at work again. I'm so glad you are happily part of this subforum!!! It's nice having fresh faces!
