  • I'm just continuing to do my thing over here. Eating sensibly and eyeballing calories, but no major restrictions. My morning weigh-ins have settled around 135/136 the past couple weeks.

    I've noticed that the morning after workouts, my scale numbers are always higher compared to days when I don't exercise. I'm guessing some of it's fluid retention from sore muscles and I also drink A LOT of water on workout days. It's a little frustrating (I like to see small numbers!), but getting into shape is important too. I'm still losing inches though and can get into some size 6 pants now so I say to the scale.

    The losses are very slow now, but I've been consistently maintaining them for months so that's something to celebrate.

  • My morning weigh-ins resemble watching a bouncy ball. 135 on the dot today. Still eyeballing my calories and portions, but I feel good and there's no feeling of deprivation. Work is really busy at the moment so I've had to cut back on my workouts a bit, but I enjoy the nights I get to do them and I'm seeing a little progress in my upper body strength since adding in ab exercises and small weights. My calves look AMAZING if I do say so myself!

    I grabbed a skirt out of the closet today to wear to church (last time I wore it was in December) and was happy/bummed that it's now way too big. I've got a gift card to Sears that I'll use this week to buy some new clothes and undies. My closet needs an overhaul.
